1 Saturday, September 22, 2007 NEWS-LEADER FUNERAL NOTICES Jessica Lyn (Lower) Hopper Jessica Lyn (Lower) Hopper was born July 29, 1983, in Springfield, and departed this life September 19, 2007, at the University of Kansas Medical Center. At the time of her passing she was 24 years of age. Jessica was united in marriage to Dustin Hopper on June 3, 2004. They were blessed with two daughters. Survivors include her loving husband, Dustin, of the home, and daughters, Lilia Grace, age three, and Norah Jean, age one, of Marshfield; her parents, Sam and Cathy (Boatz) Lower of Marshfield; two brothers, Tom Johnson and wife, Cara, of Lee's Summit, and William Tyler Lower of Orlando, one sister, Rebecca De Bow of Marshfield; father-in-law, Robert Hopper and his wife, Robin, of Marshfield; mother-in-law, Chris McFeeters and husband, Mike, of Fordland; two nephews, Gage and Blaise; one niece, Brylee; one broth Cristopher Hopper; two step sisters-in-law, Gabby and Stephanie; one step brother-in-law, Nathan; grandparents, Bernard and Helen Lower of Fair Play; grandHelen Hopper of Marshfield; step grandfather-in-law, Ricky Knight of Fordland; and step grandparents- in-law, Lowrance and Emma McFeeters of Fordland.

Jessica had a host of aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved, and many friends. Preceding her in death were grandparents, Tommy and Berneice Boatz; one aunt, Teressa Phelps; step grandmother-in-law, Ruby Knight; and grandparentsin-law, Charles and Peggy Robinson. Jessica was a lifelong Marshfield resident and a 2002 graduate of Marshfield High School. Jessica worked in the retail clothing business, was a college student, and most of all, a devoted mother and wife. Jessica will always be known most for her kindness and humble personality.

Jessica touched many by her positive attitude and overwhelming determination through her illness. Jessica was a Christian who practiced placing others first throughout her life. Services for Jessica Lyn Hopper will be held Sunday, September 23, 2007, at 2 p.m. in Phillipsburg Christian Church, Phillipsburg, with pastors Dale Day and Roger Tribble officiating. Burial will be in the Conway Cemetery under the direction of Day Funeral Home of Marshfield.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today, September 22, 2007, at Day Funeral Home, Marshfield, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lilia and Norah Hopper Fund at Liberty Bank in Marshfield or Central Bank in Lebanon. Robert Wilkinson Mary Kathleen Robert "Bob" M. Wilkinson, 84, of 1110 E.

Court, Ottumwa, lowa, and formerly of Springfield, died at 9:10 p.m. September 19, 2007, at Hospice House. He was born February 19, 1923, in Melcher, lowa, to Fredrick and Evelyn Mason Wilkinson. He married Lela Jean Lustman on September 18, 1948, in Des Moines. A graduate of Ottumwa High School, he was a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Air Force as a B24 pilot, serving in the Pacific Theatre in the 380th Bomb Group; 530th Squadron (the Flying Circus).

He worked in insurance in Des Moines before moving to Ottumwa in 1962 to work at John Morrell Co. As a plant controller, he worked and traveled with John Morrell Co. until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the First Christian Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Denise (Paul) Jackson of Altoona, Iowa, Patty (Baylor) House of Perryville, and Beth Hendred of Ottumwa, Iowa; six grandchildren, Kevin (Dawn) Jackson of Ankeny, Iowa, Ryan Jackson of Las Vegas, J.B. House of McKinney, Texas, Stephanie (Josh) "House" Emery of Perryville, Chantel Wilkinson and Sierra Frazier both of Ottumwa, lowa; two greatgrandchildren, Megan and Lane Emery; a sister, Eliza Wilkinson of Ottumwa, lowa; and a sister-inlaw, Hazel Patterson of Des Moines, Iowa. He was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard "Pat" Patterson and a Anthony Hendred Sr. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today, September 22, at the Reece Funeral Home, Ottumwa, Iowa, with Rev.

Lisa laid down her long battle with cancer for the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Sept. 20, 2007, at home surrounded by her loving family.

During her illness, her faith has been an inspiration to everyone. Lisa was a graduate of Eminence High School and attended College of the Ozarks. She was a member of Mt. Comfort Bible Church, a Girl Scout Leader, Youth Group Leader and volleyball coach. On May 19, 1984, she was united in marriage to Tom Buckner.

Lisa is survived by Tom and their children, Jessica, Zack and Stephanie; her parents, Jesse and Dorothy Rainbolt; brother, Jim Rainbolt; brother, Leland Rainbolt and his wife, Margret; sister, Carol Nickoloff and her husband, Terry; sister, Susan Rainbolt; sister-in-law, Debbie Clopton; father -inlaw mother-in-law, Carl and Donna Buckner; and a host of other relatives and friends. Lisa was a loving wife and mother. She will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sept.

23, at Greenlawn North. Visitation is 5:30 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 22, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lisa Buckner Memorial Scholarship Fund Empire Bank.

Sept. 20, 2007, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Mo. He was born on October 5, 1958, the son of Ellis Dodge Allen and Wanda Zoe (Hacker) Allen. He was a Restaurateur in the Lake Ozark area.

Surviving are his two daughters, Courtney Lynn Allen and Ambret Allen of Osage Beach; his mother, Wanda Hacker Allen of Bolivar; and a sister, Lindley Allen James and husband, Harry, of St. Louis, Mo. A celebration of life will be on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, at 5 p.m. in the United Methodist Church in Bolivar.

Inurnment will be at a later date in the Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar under the direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar. His death was the result of a farming accident. Leroy and his family were owners of Yarbrough Equipment, Strafford, Mo. He was retired from Stewart- Nattinger and Yarbrough Machine. Leroy was proud to have served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 until Feb.

1956. Later he served in the Naval Air Reserves for several years. He is survived by his wife, Irlene Wells Yarbrough; his children, Raedonna Graham, Rebecca and Todd Dull, Danny and Jimmi Yarbrough, Rick and Marcy Yarbrough, and Cheryl and Steve Scroggins; his grandchildren, Mitisha Phillips, Nattelia and Noble Mitchem, Clayton Waller, Dixie and William Crawshaw, Emily Mathis, Dustin and Casey Yarbrough, Rachelle and Chad McGinnis, Cole Yarbrough, Chace Tuck and McKenzie Scroggins, Christina, Heather and Kodie Reardon; great-grandchildren, Anna, Kayla and Hunter Waller, Solomon "Jake" Phillips, Eliiah, Ezekiel and Isaiah Mitchem, Chestin Shields and Rylie Mathis; brothers and sisters, Naomi and Herstie Mackey, Wayne and Linda Yarbrough, Jean Yarbrough, Patricia Young, Lorraine and Mike Helvey, Beverly Havens, Marvin and Barbara Wells, and Melvin and Roxanna Wells; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was a member of The Gate of The Temple Lodge, 32 Degree Mason and long time member of the Shrine, The Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the VFW Post at Strafford, and a Korean War Veteran. He was also a member of the Strafford Senior Center and Strafford Historical Society. Preceding him in death were his parents, Ira and Maggie Trantham Yarbrough; a brother, Jerry Yarbrough; brother -inlaw, Mark Havens; and great- grandson, Walter Waller Jr. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today, Sept.

22, at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at Magnolia Square in Springfield after a long period of failing health. Betty Yvonne Patton was born on October 12, 1928, in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, the sixth and youngest child of Earl Henderson Patton and Floy Verna Lebow. She graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1946.

She worked as a secretary at the Kansas University Medical Center and at Celanese. She married Glendon Charles Hill in Joplin, Missouri, on November 12, 1955. They lived in Joplin, Missouri, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Overland Park, Kansas, Charlotte and Denver, North Carolina. In North Carolina she was very active in various women's clubs and the Lincoln County Republicans. After her husband's death in 1990, she moved to Springfield where she has resided ever since.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Earlene L'Hote and Ruth Cameron; and brothers, Mart, Max and Earl Patton. Sister-in-law, Alberta Williams, Springfield, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, greatnephews, great nieces and great-greatnephews survive her. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, September 24, in the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home Chapel, Mt. Vernon.

Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the Williams Cemetery, west of Mt. Vernon, which was established by her greatgreat -grandparents, Samuel Smith and Elizabeth (Cocke) Williams. Rev. Rich Cameron Lee will officiate.

Betty's family would like to extend their gratitude to the Magnolia Square family and Community Hospice of America, and a special thank you to Dr. Thomas Dahlberg and nurse Jamie Murphy. 9, 1921, in Nixa, and went to her Heavenly home Sept. 19, 2007. Katie was a wonderful, loving Mom, Nana and friend. She was co-owner of Clayton TV many years then began property management. She loved to travel, entertain and be with her family.

She was a member of East Sunshine Church of Christ where she volunteered in the nursery many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Amy (Keltner) Wadkins, and brothers, Paul and Forest She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Ohler; granddaughter, Amy (Kevin) Davis; special niece, Bonnie Turner; and many friends, nieces and nephews. Visitation is Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. and funeral services are Monday at 1 p.m. at Greenlawn East, with burial in Hazelwood Cemetery.

Greenlawn Goldie Neeley Goldie Neeley, 82, Miller, passed away September 20, 2007. Survivors include: two daughters, Margie Murray, Carthage, and Judy Faucett, Springfield; and one son, Tommy Neeley, La Russell. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, September 24, in the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, Miller. Burial will follow in the Red Oak Cemetery.
