The charges, filed in July by the City Attorney's office, were dismissed by Municipal Court Judge Maral Kirakosian. Reilly to work AL playoff series Mike Reilly of Battle Creek will join five other American League umpires to work the 1987 league playoff series, it was announced Monday. Joining Reilly will be Joe Brlnkman, Jim McKean, Al Clark, Durwood Merrill and Drew Coble.

The National League playoff umpires will be Bob Engel, John Kibler, Jim Quick, Ed Montague, Eric Gregg and Dave Pallone.
