The Falcons, who finished 3-2 in the Ozark Conference and 5-4 over-1 all, return 10 in- Glendale eluding nine Falcons starters "Our num bers are a little better this year but it'sstill not great," Price said. "Ijust don't think there's a whole lot of difference between the team this year and last year.

We're about in the same shape. "We don't have any depth. And our sophomores make up the bulk of the team so they're not ready yet. "But we should be competitive in most of our games. You always have to be optimistic." The Falcons do have returning at the skill positions.

Senior quarterback Tom Suther-; land will be back, as well as senior Jullback Kevin Simon. Both were all-conference picks last year. Also returning are Sutherland's two main targets from last fall, se-nior wide receivers Jarrod Buck- master and Chris Hamilton. "We should be decent at quarterback and fullback," Price said. As for the conference race, Price doesn't see anybody beating Kickapoo.
