Travel 34-H SUNDAY, JULY 29, 1984, Longview Morning Journal Hanna Barbcra Land adds three attractions to park HOUSTON Hanna Barbera Land, the new family theme park that opened in North Houston earlier this year, has added three new entertainment attractions and increased the frequency of other park shows, announced Alexander Weber, vice president and general manager. "Through our in-park research, we discovered our guests consider the live shows one of in a spirited rain chant which produces surprising and cooling results. Guests can cool off and enjoy as much of the three hour cartoon festival as they wish while relaxing in plump bean bag chairs. Hanna Barbera Land, a new family theme park, opened March 31 in Spring.

The main entrance of the park, located 22 miles north of downtown Houston on the east side of 1-45, can be reached by taking exit 68 and following the service road to the Hanna Barbera Land park sign. The park is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays until Labor Day.
