And so on.

And so on. Many of these quotes are famous even if there is some doubt about who originally uttered them. And, while there is no doubt some personalities enjoy the reputation of being quick with a quip, others would probably as soon forget and be forgotten as the source of their famous or infamous cracks. This is great for killing time for a few moments or longer, in any room in the house. It's a quick read, to be sure, but also funny.

For what it's worth, in a few cases, a reader might even glean a rare insight or a shiny little gem of wisdom from their reading.
