If you're among the many who won't be in The Grand Palace for tonight's finals of the Miss USA pageant, there's no reason you can't participate at home. You'll probably have a better view of the beauties from your couch than the back of the hall anyway. There will be eight celebrity judges for the finals. They'll use an Olympic-style scoring system developed by Michael Fryd of Miami Beach, FTa. Youll need to have a calculator handy if you want to keep up with the judges, who will use individual computers to enter scores of 1 to 9.99 (no one's a perfect 10).

Their scores will be averaged to narrow the finalists to five, then three, then Miss USA. -V 7 5 Top 10 finalists Jensie Grigsby, 26 Tiffany Meyer, 23 Jolene Youngster, Jennifer Dupont, 18 23 The top 10 finalists have been chosen based on their scores in preliniinary interview, evening gown and swimsuit competitions.
