ANN ARBOR, Mich.

(AP) A University of Michigan journalism professor whose career in print, broadcast and education spanned SO years, died Friday following a stroke. He was 80. Ben L. Yablonky shared his criticism and perspective on the media for nearly 20 years in a weekly radio commentary aired on the university's public radio station. He graduated from Northwestern University to become a reporter and editor for the Chicago Herald and Examiner and the Chicago Sun.
