Humors wero also heard of another big deal Involving tho Printing Crafts Building, a twenty-two slory structuro occupying tho w.esterly block front on Klghth avenue, between Thirty-third nnd Thirty-fourth streets. overlooking tho Pennsylvania Station and tho General Post Offlce. It was whispered that this Riant structuro had been purchased by tho Government as an army and navy building. tut all efforts to confirm the report through ofTlclal channels were unsuccessful.

Federal officials had henrd tho rumor, Hut were unable to Bupply any definite details. The Porlltou was sold by George Noakes, through L-. J. Phillips to Sydney H. Sonn, as president of the Transit Ilealty Company, Inc.

TI)e structuro Is pno of tho finest apartment houses on the middle West Side and was acquired by Mr. Noakes in 1913. It occupies a prominent location nt Sherman Square, with a permanent southern exposure, overlooking the Church of the Blessed Sacrament at the southeast corner of Broadway and Seventy-flrst street. The building covers a plot of more than five lots fronttng 105.5 feet on Broadway and 110.5 feet on Seventy-first street.
