Our ship is likely to strike one at any moment, unless we are on the lookout. The Great Teacher, the one who walked upon the sea tells us what these icebergs are, After walking upon the sea and canning the storm, they came in to the land of Gennesaret. And when tue men of the country had knowledge of him they sent out into all the country round about and gathered iu the sick and dis eased, and besought him that they might only toucli tl.e hem of his garment, and as many as touched were made perfectly whole. Then the Scribas and Pharisees, the Smart-A lex' of that age, wanted to know why the deciples trans gressed the traditions of the Elders by eating bread without washing their hands. Then the Great Teacher said "These are the things which defile a These are the icebergs that float upon the sea of life: "Evil thoughts; murders; adulteries; fornications; thefts; false witness; blasphemies." These are by no means all the ice bergs that are afloat upon the sea of life; No indeed there are many Others Another thing we can't make one of these icebergs larger than another and another one smaller.

Some men think because they don't drii that drunken ness is the largest iceberg upon the sea, yet we'd rather risk a turtle dove in the jaws of a half starv ed lion than a fourteen year old girl in the hands of some of these twentieth century Pharisees, in a dark alley. These icebergs are all the same size, and any one of them will wreck the voyager up on the sea of life. The great ship builder of tha universe, however, took more precaution than did the officials of The White Star Line and for every passen ger upon the sea of life He has provided a life boat, one that will positively carry the passenger in safety to the great sternal harbor. We may steer clear cf all these icebergs upon the sea of life; but there is one which cannot be es caped. We can feel it's presence by the cool atmosphere as we come ne'arer and nearer to it.

It is the iceberg of Al! must come in contact with this monster upon the sea of life and it is sure to wreck the frail boat no matter how strong we think it is made. We may boast that our boat, like the Titanic is unsinkable, but when it collides with this great monster it is sure to flounder and sink. Then it behooves every passenger upon the deep sea of life to be Drovided with the great life boat of God's Salvation. It will carry the soul, wrecked npon the iceberg of death; into the great harbor of heaven. How's This? Rexall Orderlies are eaten just like candy, are particularly prompt and agreeable in action, may be taken at any time, day or night; do not cause diarrhoea, nausea, g.ipi::, cxuaisive looseness, or other undesirable effects. They have a very mild but positive ac tion upon the organs with which they come in contact, apparently acting as a regulative tonic upon the relaxed muscular coat of the bowel, thus overcoming weakness. and a'ding to restore the bowels to more vigorous and healthy ac tivity. Kexall Urderlies are unsurpass able and ideal for the use of chil dren, old folks and delicate per sons.

We cannot too highly rec ommend them to all sufferers from any form of constipation and its attendant evils. H. SCRCTCHFIELD, Clarence, Mo. Little Sim Thinks. It has been Severn! weeks since we did much thinkir. We have been engaged considerably in politics lately, and it is quite true that one engaged in politics thinks very little of himself at any rate The great Titanic disaster, how-m ever, issumcient to set in motion the rusty and cob-web covered thinking aparatus of even a train robber or a politician.

Just think of a gilded palace, like the Titanic, floating proudly upon the deep blue sea, all on board joyors and happy, the band playing above the music of a thousand voices, men and women dancing, some reading others playing cards. All on board the proud monarch of the deep were happy and secure in the belief that their, ship was unsinkable. The officers, the owners, and all connected in any way with the operation of the great steamer, agreed that she was unsinkable and therefore little thought was taken as to the provision of life boats until the perilous moment came, men, too late, it was discovered that the great Titanic carried life boats only sufficient to convey about one-third of her human freight to safety. About 700 lives were saved and about 1400 were lost because the officials neglected to provide a sufficient number of life saving boat. Some people are standing around on the street corners, and some ministers are thundering the in telligence into the ears of their flock that all on board the Titanic were drunk, and that on that fateful Sunday night these 2300 passengers were engaged in a Belshazzarian feast, and that as the music of the band and orchestra mingled with the gay laugh ter of the dancers and floated across the ocean, and as the champaign sparkled in the cut glass goblets and the cards ligr.tly lit upon the marble topped tables, the chilly atmosphere from the iceberg should have been a sufficient handwriting upon the wall; but was heeded not, and 1400 souls were sent to eternity.

Some preachers and some peo ple who are wise enough to solve all the mysteries of the creation may look upon the great Titanic disaster as described above; but we are not going to judge the lost souls so harshly. We are going extend the cloak of charity, and we believe we can present a thought that will not condemn the dead; but that will benefit the living. a E3 11 no 13 are represented in Clar- a a Davison i Every Day Arrival of "Dutch" Palmer in riagic Cily Heralds Season. The ways of ascertaining that spring has come are many Some people place faith in the first while others list for the first thunder clap to announce the gladsome season of bloom, plant and crop conversation. Magic City ites, however, use none cf these methods.

As the snow begins to leave the hills and She Mouse river bursts forth in roaring rills, they keep a weather eye on the Waver-ly hotel window. They await the regular "official" sign, and this year as in other years it has not failed them. For glancing through the plate last evening who should be sitting there but "Our Own Dutch" Palmer. "Dutch" is the real forerunner of spring. His appearance in Minot has never yet failed to be the true announce ment that the season beautiful is here for sure.

Mr. Palmer states that providing a ball team is organized he is again and once more prepared to "play the game of his life." Ther. fore all is well. Let the spring work now proceed.
