Pa. (Arrangements by the GRIFFITH CHAPEL. Norwood. Pa.) The great-grandson of the late Samuel M. Vauclain, executive of the former Baldwin Locomotive Works, Eddystone, was killed Monday in an auto accident near Bloomsburg.

James R. Klotz, 18, of 117 Orchard Lane, Lower Merion, died when his car skidded off Interstate 80 into a parked tractor-trailer loaded with steel, according to state police. State police said John Howard, 30, the truck driver, was in his vehicle at the time, but was not injured. The accident occurred between Berwick and Bloomsburg. Mr.

Klotz was the great- grandson of SamuelM.Vauclain, the late chairman of the board of the former Baldwin Locomotive Works. The Vauclain Fire Co. of Leiperville, Ridley Township, was named after the former Baldwin executive in 1917. He then donated the use of the ground for the firehouse in addition to a chemical engine. Mr.

Klotz was a graduate of St. George's School, Newport R.I. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John R.

Klotz, of Lower Merion; two sisters, Louise and Anne, both at his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Jacques L. Vauclain, of Haverford Township, Delaware County. Retired seaman, James McLeod James W. McLebd, 71, of 903 Avenue of the States, Chester, a retired merchant seaman, died Sunday in the Public Health Service Hospital, Baltimore.

Mr. McLeod was born in Alabama and lived 11 years at his late residence. A merchant seaman, he retired in 1970. He was a member of the Seafarers' International Union and St. Paul's Masonic Lodge 14 of Rhode Island.

He is survived by two brothers, John R. McLeod.of- Augusta, and Samuel D. of New Orleans, and two sisters, Mrs. Lois Carlton and Katherine McLeod, both of St. Simon's Island, Ga.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 2316 Providence Chester. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston. Calling hours will be after p.m.

Wednesday at the funeral home. Harvey E. Pearson, 85, of Tinicum, a former township official and retired employe of Westinghouse Electric died Sunday In Taylor Hospital, Ridley Park. Born in Wilmington, Mr. Pearson moved to Esslngton in 1924.

He retired about 20 years ago as a machinist at Westinghouse in Tinicum, where he was employed about 35 years. He was a Republican committeeman more than 20 years in Tinicum, served on the board of commissioners, the zoning board, school board and library board. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran ch.Tinicum; DuPont Masonic Lodge 29 of Wilmington, Tall Cedars of Lebanon of Chester, the Shriners, Consistory and Grotto of Philadelphia. His wife, Ethel, died in 1956.

He is survived by four sons, Edward Pearson of Secane, Harold of Aston and George and Warren, both of Tinicum; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Gibbs Mclntyre Mrs. Margaret V. Mclntyre, 69, of 113 Lincoln Ridley Park, the wife of John Mcln- tyre, died Saturday while on vacation in Cape May Court House, N.J. Mrs.

Mclntyre, the former Margaret V. Dougherty, was born in Philadelphia and lived about 35 years in Ridley Park. She was a member of St. Madeline's Roman Catholic Church, Ridley Park. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs.

Marie Marchese of Springfield and Margaret Mclntyre, at home; a son, Charles J. of Flourtown; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Scanlon of Camden.and Mrs. Helen Sheffield, Savannah, and six grandchildren. The -funeral will be 9 a.m.

Wednesday at the Cavanagh Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike; Norwood. Mass will be 10 a.m. at Church. Burial will be in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Marple. There will be no calling this evening.

Mawby Pensyl Mawby, 77, of 15 E. Ridley Ridley Park.a longtime boroughresideht, died Sunday at Fair Acres, Middletown. Mr. Mawby was born in Ridley Park, lived- a couple of years in Darby and the rest of his life in Ridley Park: He was a guest about two years at Fair Acres. A1916 graduate of the former Ridley Park High School and a COLLINGDALE Mayor Frank Kelly announced at borough council's Monday night meeting the borough is ceasing the curfew in the first and second precincts immediately.

Inaugurated July 11 for 18- year olds and under, the 10 p.m. curfew was started to reduce vandalism in the area. "We had satisfactory results with the parents," Kelly said. "A great majority of the parents cooperated by keeping their children in. There were a few isolated incidents resulting in fines." Commenting on the curfews in Aldan and Clifton Heights, Kelly said: "If kids come into Collingdale, we will be forced into another curfew." In other council appointed Joseph.
