Berry, 70, Revived After Near Dies of Heart Attack William N. Berry, 70, of 122 Smith avenue, died of a heart attack at St. Lawrence hospital Tuesday after having been revived during the morning by a fire department inhalator squad. He was overcome by carbon monoxide fumes from a defective heater in his home. An autopsy revealed that death was due to a heart attack probably brought on by the poisonous fumes.

He had been a resident of Lansing for the past 12 years, coming here from Flint. where he was a member of the Trinity Methodist church. Surviving are the widow, Permelia: three daughters, Mrs. Meta Diebel of Flint. Mrs.

Joseph Gwinn and Mrs. Elmer Lucas, both of Lansing; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held in the Estes-Leadley Colonial chapel at 1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon with Rev. D. Stanley Coors officiating.

Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery. Riot Death Scene Visited by Jurors DETROIT, Jan. 12 (P)-Trials five youths charged with first degree murder in the shooting during the race riots last June of a 58-yearold Negro, Moses Kiska, opened today with the jury of 11 women and one man visiting the scene of the death, a safety zone at Mack avenue and Chene street. The shot that killed Kiska was fired from a passing automobile. The defendants are Aldo Trani, 16.

Pvt. Armando. Mastantuono, 20, Robert Cattane, 17, Anthony Saraceno, 16, and Ralph Tancredi, 20. -Three sons of Mr. and Mrs.

Hjalmer Hansen, 709 Birch street, are serving their country. Sgt. Elmer Hansen, a former employe of the Olds Motor tering the service November 4, 1942, is with the infantry at Los Angeles, Cal. He received his basic training at Camp Polk, La. Eldon Hansen is attached to the master Arvid quarter company in Iceland.

He was employed by Franklin DeKleine company at the time he entered the service in January, 1943. He received his basic training at Camp Fort Elmer Eldon Warren, Wyo. Eldon was graduated from Lansing Central high school in January, 1942. The youngest son, Arvid Hansen, was graduated from Sexton high school in June, 1943, and entered the navy in July. He WAS graduated from Great Lakes hospital corps in October, and is now stationed with the United States hospital staff at Great Lakes, Ill.
