He died at his home northwest of Brownstown, Wednesday, July 12. at 4:25 p. m. Born August 25, 1875, in Beck's 'Grove, he was the son of James and Jane Elizabeth He married Mary Eunice Holley in Jackson county on October 3, 1896. They moved to Jackson county about 42 years ago.

Mr. Thompson was a farmer, a member of the United Brethren church at Beck's Grove and a member of the Redman Lodge, which had charge of a portion of the service. Surviving are the widow, three sons. Dawson Thompson, of Battle Ground; Claude Thompson of Tampa, and Walter Thompson of Lafayette; two daughters. Mrs.

M. O. Lucas, of Brownstown Rl. and Mrs. Virgil Wilson of Freetown; a brother, Jess Thompson, of Seymour R4; 22 grandchildren and .18 great-grandr children.
