POST-TRIBUNE, Jefferson City, Tuesday Afternoon, August 30, 1966 Page 8 and about Women for Don's Llona Honored A dinner honoring Miss Doris Llona, 2400 W. Main for her birthday on Aug. 26th, was given at the Governor Hotel by her uncle and aunt, Dr. and Mrs. Lester B.

Rickman. The table was centered with a beautifully decorated birthday cake, with color scheme of white, yellow and green, which was also carried out in white and green place cards. Mary Maxey, Leo Fran ken Are Married Miss Mary Lee Maxey and Ronald Leo Franken exchanged vows in a double ring ceremony at 10 a.m. Aug. 13, at the St.

George Catholic Church in Linn. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Mary Wilson of Waynesville, and the late Mont C. Maxey. The groom is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. Vincent Franken of Linn. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. W.

Jaworski. The bride was given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Dale Roberson. Miss Mary Jane Sims of Jefferson City was maid of honor and Miss Mary Ann Koehler, Meta, and Miss Vicky Roberson, niece of the bride, served as bridesmaids. Kent Hicks of Richland served as ringbearer, and Denise Payne served as flower girl. The groom chose his brother, Kenneth Franken of Linn for his best man, and Leo Hueste and Dick Otto of Linn for groomsmen.

Robert Thornsberry, brother- in-law of the bride, and Ralph Samson served as ushers. Mrs. H. G. Dallas Mr.

and Mrs. G. Dallas, Jr. and Miss Shirley Klein. As part of her birthday celebration, Miss Llona was given a trip to St.

Louis on Saturday to see the Cardinal-Pittsburgh baseball game. She was accompanied by her aunt and uncle. On Sunday, Miss Martha Guests were Miss Llona's Gwendolyn Ann Stewart Becomes Bride of Larry Frederick Beck Miss Gwendolyn Ann Stewart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin B.

Niedner performed the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with an arrangement of white gladioli and pompom chrysanthemums and flanked by four large candelabra. Jade palms completed the setting.

Reservec jews were marked by white 3ows accented with greenery. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length shealh gown of imported organza. Schiffli embroidered flowers outlined the semi-scooped neckline, the raised waistline' and were repeated on the kabuki sleeves. The detachable chapel train was finished with a tailored bow. Her elbow length hand rolled bouffant veil of imported silk illusion was secured by a cluster of silk rosebuds outlined by re- embroidered Alencon lace and trimmed with seed pearls.
