Avery Dies Suddenly; Funeral Thursday James Avery, 72, of Sarbaum Trailer died suddenly at 11:10 a.m.

yester- ay in a Hospital, where he had been taken four hours earlier after suffering a stroke at his home. Born in a County on Nov. 29, 1894, he was a son of B. M. and Mattie Moberly Avery.

Mr. Avery had lived in the Fayetle and Higbee areas until 30 days ago when he moved to Moberly. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Avery was a member of (he Mt.

Pleasant Christian Church, southwest of Higbee. Surviving are his wife, Verna; two sons, Melvln Avery Rocheport, and J. H. Avery Jr. Fayclte; one step daughter Mrs.

Stanley Anabel Iwo brothers, Raymond of Ren ick and Benton of Kansas City, two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Sliockley, a a City, and Mrs. Alva Ray, Trenton, and three granddaughters.
