Baker "Millie" of Jupiter Farms, FL passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 24, 2010. Mildred and her twin sister, Mary, were born on September 30, 1936 in Miami, FL to their beloved parents, Thomas F. Butler, Sr.

and Mildred S. Butler. Mildred graduated from Miami Edison Senior High School in 1954 and she attended the University of Florida. She treasured her southern roots as was evidenced by her love for everything about Florida. Mildred was also an avia Florida Gators, Florida Marlins and Miami Dolphins fan.

Following college, Mildred was employed by the FBTfor four years in Miami. Upon her re-locating to North Palm Beach, she worked as the Executive Assistant of the Florida East Coast Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America for 25 years. After that, she worked until her retirement at Dunkelberger Engineering and Testing, Inc. Upon ner retirement, Mildred had the great joy of becoming a docent at the Palm Beach County History Museum. Mildred is survived by her brother, Thomas F.

Butler, Jr. (Betty) of Murphy, NC; her sister, Mary B. Jeflison (David) of Highlands, NC; ner son, Thomas R. Baker, III (Cam) of Jupiter, FL; her daughter, Dale L. Hammaker Aid ine of Houston, TX and her four grandchildren, Tommy, Haley, Danny and Chas.

Mildred was a devoted Christian who was passionate about her Savior Jesus Christ. She was active in her church and a wonderful witness for her Lord. The world is a more beautiful place because of her presence, her radiant smile and her comfort to others through her letters and cards. A visitation with the family will take place at Aycock Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, on Wednesday, July 28 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Memorial Service celebrating Mildred's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 29 at Central Baptist Church of Jupiter, 18477 Loxahatchee River Road.

Karen was born in West Palm Beach at Good Samaritan on June 7, 1953 to Jack and Enid Schwencke, the fourth and youngest of their children. She is survived by her husband and best friend, Ekkie and by her two loving children, Melissa and Patric. She is also survived by her father, Jack of North Palm Beach, FL; brother, Kim of Tampa; sister, Chris of Ash evi 1 1 NC and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Enid and brother, Kerry. Karen grew up in North Palm Beach having attended grade school there and high school in Palm Beach Gardens ultimately getting a degree from USF in business.

In her teen years she rode the equestrian (hunter jumper) circuit with the highest accolade being an appearance at Madison Square Garden. Later in life, she was a teaching tennis professional at PGA where she made many avid tennis players and lifelong friends. She was a wonderful, loving generous person living life to it's fullest always surrounded her family, friends and cherished which there are too many to mention. She will be greatly missed by all and in the end showed us how to live our life with grace and dignity. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Howard-Price followed by a memorial service at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 AM with internment thereafter.

John Wagner, 34, faced a Baltimore judge Wednesday morning, on charges of murdering Stephen B. Pitcairn. The judge ordered Wagner to remain in custody without bail, with a medical and suicide investigation pending, said Margaret Burns, spokeswoman for the State Attorney's Office for Baltimore City Lavelya Merritt, 24, is also being held without bail.
