4 THURSDAY, MAY 31, 2001 Edward R. Anderson McHENRY Edward R. Anderson, 57, of McHenry, died Monday, May 28, 2001, at his home. He was born July 18, 1943, in Waupaca, to Gordon and Iva Gyette Anderson. He married Carol Koch on Aug.

12, 1967, in Woodstock. He served in the U.S. Army. He was an insurance salesman for Aid Association for Lutherans. He was a member of NAIFA, McHenry County Life Underwriters, Illinois Fraternal Life Underwriters, Association and National Fraternal Insurance Counselors.

Survivors include his wife of McHenry; two daughters, Noelle (Jim) Johnson of McHenry and Jodi (Ray) Thomas of McHenry; two grandchildren, Justin and Kaleigh Johnson; and four brothers, James (Hilda) Anderson of California, Robert (Judy) Anderson of Wonder Lake, Gerald (Judy) Anderson of Wheeling and Gordon Anderson of Neenah, Wis. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Visitation will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 31, until the 7 p.m. funeral at St.

John Lutheran Church, 401 St. John Road, Woodstock, with the Rev. Knoerr officiating. Private. burial will be Friday, June 1, at Windridge Cemetery in Cary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Fellowship of Faith Lutheran Church, 1014 N. River Road, McHenry, Ill. 60050, would be appreciated. Arrangements were made by Querhammer Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Crystal I Lake.

Erhart H. 'Bud' Bauman UNION Erhart H. "Bud" Bauman, 77, of Union, died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at his home after a long illness. He was born July 24, 1923, in Union, to Paul and Eleanora (Buhrow) Bauman. He married Evelyn Johnson on Sept.

4, 1943, at Zion Lutheran Church in Marengo. He was part owner of Five Corners Tavern in rural Union for 20 years. He was a farmer and retired from the Illinois Tollway Authority after 18 years. Survivors include his wife of Union; three children, Dennis (Deby VanCamp) Bauman of St. Louis, Cynthia (William) Schoeneck of Pelican Lake, and Fritzie (Ingo) I Reinbolz of Oregon; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Larry) Burns of Hartford, Suzanne Bauman of Vernon Hills, Jason and Kevin Schoeneck, both of Milwaukee, and Magan and Lance Reinbolz, both of Oregon; a sister, Phyllis Kastning of Capron; a niece; and many nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Harold "Butch" Bauman. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at the Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Highway, Marengo. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m.

Friday, June 1, until the service at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 412 E. Jackson Marengo, with the Rev. Glen Borhart officiating. Interment will be in Marengo City Cemetery.

Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart OBITUARIES Joseph and Frances (Provone) Cooling. He married Anna Mauk on Aug. 19, 1968, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Rockford. He graduated from St.

Thomas High School in Rockford in 1960 and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He established Joe Cooling and Sons Landscaping with his father in the early 1960s. He was Durand Township road commissioner for six years and moved to Pecatonica in 1983 to start his own sod farm. In 1995, he and his son, Joe, purchased Beaver Run Sod Farm in Harvard. Survivors include his wife of Harvard; a daughter, Teresa Mabrey of Williams Bay, a son, Joseph (Tracy) Cooling; two granddaughters, Sara and Amanda Mabrey; four brothers; and six sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at Fitzgerald Associates Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Rockford, with a 7:45 p.m. Christian wake service.

Elaine Marie Cugier HOUSTON Elaine Marie Cugier nee Sullivan, 75, of Houston and formerly of Lombard, died Monday, May 28, 2001, in Alaska. She was a resident of Lombard from 1963 to 1988. She was a registered nurse and received her training from St.

Ann's Hospital in Chicago. She worked at Joslyn Clinic in Maywood. She also worked at Meyer, Meyer and Albers in Lombard form 1972 to 1987. Survivors include four daughters, Maureen Aud of North Dakota, Kathleen (Kenneth) Kray of Houston, Sharon (Jerry) Pode of Belleville, and Denise (Kurt) Blanken of Huntley; three sons, Tom Cugier of Houston, David (Ellen) Cugier of Belleville, and Don (Debbie) Cugier of Geneva; 22 grandchildren; 2 great -grandchildren; and a brother, Roger (Maryann) Sullivan of Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore; a granddaughter, Karin Elaine Kray; and her parents, Edwin and Harriet Sullivan.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 1, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Lombard. Prayers will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 2, with a 10 a.m.

Victor L. Huinker McHENRY -Victor L. Huinker, 94, of and formerly of McGregor, Iowa, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, at Memorial Medical Center in McHenry. He was born May 22, 1907, in Festina, Iowa, to Joseph and Johanna (Braun) Hunker. He was a farmer for many years in Clayton County, Iowa, and worked at Campion High School in Prairie du Chien, until it closed.

He also cared for St. Mary's Church and cemetery in McGregor. He was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed playing the accordion. Survivors include three sons, James (Jean) Huinker of Marengo, Jerome (Arlene) Hunker of FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS Catholic Church, Lombard. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.

Martin, 39, of McHenry, died Monday, May 28, 2001, at her home. She was born Jan. 30, 1962, in McHenry, to John J. and Marjorie (Schweik) Connell. On May 18, 1985, she married Patrick M.

Martin at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in McHenry She received a bachelor's of science degree in 1984 from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University in August 1999. She had worked as a physical education instructor for Cary School District 26. She also was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in McHenry.

Survivors include her parents; her husband of McHenry; six siblings, John (Lisa) Connell of Crystal Lake, Cathleen Connell of McHenry, Eileen (Vince) Marzano of McHenry, Richard (Karen) Connell of Elkhorn, Randall (Shelia) Connell of Janesville, and Maureen (Wayne) Quass; a sister-in-law, Taina Connell; and 25 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lt. Col. Gary Connell in 1998. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m.

Leonard Mulle TUCSON, Ariz. Leonard Mulle, 77, of Tucson, and formerly of Island Lake, died Thursday, May 18, 2001, at Veterans Administration Hospital in Tucson. He was born July 8, 1923, in Partanna, Italy. He married Mary Marcuccilli. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

He was the owner of Leonardi's Food Specialties in Lake Zurich. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Elks and St. Odilia Church in Tucson. Survivors include his wife, Antonette of Tucson; three daughters, Loretta (Douglas) Kilman, Louise (Mike) Mitchell and Emily (Dan) Polito; a son, Michael (Annette) Mulle; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary; a son, Leonard his parents; a brother, Vito; and a sister, Frances.

Gladys M. Olson HUNTLEY Gladys M. Olson, 84, of Huntley, died Monday, May 28, 2001, at Sherman Hospital in Elgin. She was born May 25, 1917, in Elgin, to Charles and Gertrude (Hoffman) Boyd. On Feb.

22, 1941, she married Paul L. Olson. They lived in Wasco until March 1945, when they moved to their dairy farm in Huntley. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Huntley and the Kane County Farm Bureau. She was a past member of the American Milk Producers Inc.

and the owner of the -Farm.
