Abby Elizabeth Junes, 8 pounds, 20i inches, was bom March 19, 2006, at Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry to Greg and Lura Jurrens of Crystal Lake. McHENRY Kiara Ame Reams, 7 pounds, 12 ounces, 19 inches, was bom March 17, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center in Woodstock to Patrick and Lisa Keams of McHenry. Maternal grandparent is Pat Flynn of Chicago.

Taylor Lym Pahlke, 8 pounds, 4 ounces, 21 inches, was bom March 13, 2006, at Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry to Matthew and Kristy Pahlke of McHenry. Maternal grandparents are Alan Berry of Chester, Va. and Cheryl Butler of McHenry. Paternal grandparents are Kent and Elizabeth Pahlke of Spring Grove.

and Grace Vermett of Caproa Group raises more than $41,000 WOODSTOCK Woodstock Christian Life Services raised more than $41,000 with its second annual Little Hands, Big Dreams gala recently at Boulder Ridge Country Club. The event included dinner, entertain- ment, dancing and a silent auction. Stockwood, a Beatles tribute band made up of children, kicked off the entertainment, followed by big band musicians Ken and Ed. About 240 guests attended, up from 160 last year. Popular auction items were a platter of homemade cookies and tickets to a White Sox vs.

Red Sox game, both purchased by guest Perry Moy. Ron Bull, who played for the Chicago Bears in the 1960s, was a guest speaker at the gala and professional dance instructor Alex Artega taught the swing, fox trot and waltz. Proceeds benefit the Woodstock Early Learning Center, which cares for 165 children. Sponsors included Team Reil Construction, Northwest Herald, American Community Bank and Trust, Amcore Bank, SuperNurs and several anonymous community leaders. WOODSTOCK- McHenry County Government employees will celebrate Earth Week 11 a.m. to 1 p.rh. Monday outside the county administration building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock. County board president Ken Koehler will read a proclamation, and two earth flags will be raised. An oak tree will also be planted.

The event also will feature an exhibition of hybrid vehicles provided by area car dealerships, as well as those owned privately by county employees. McHenry County environmental information will also be available. Highlights include a free raffle of native plants, seeds, and other giveaways. All county employees and county board members are invited to attend. The rain date is Tuesday.

Choir camp registration underway Woodstock Alzheimer's support group to discuss wellness Crystal Lake Montessori School, 3013 Country Club Road, Woodstock. Tuition is $175, which includes all materials, music and camp T-shirt. Students will be grouped according to age and experience and children of all skill levels are welcome. Emily Floyd will direct the summer camp choir, Karen Snodgrass will direct the chime choir, and Ann Tucker and staff will provide activities and games to challenge and nurture students through theory, history and music appreciation sessions.
