Peter Paul Church in Cary CARY Rose Ann Bloner, 105, of Cary, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, at Alden Terrace in McHenry. She was born July 19, 1902, on the family farm, which was on Plum Tree Road between Barrington and Fox River Grove, to Joseph and Josephine (Hruby) Bloner.

She attended Oak Glen School in Fox River Grove. She was a lifelong member of Sts. Peter Paul Church in Cary. For the past several years, she resided at Alden Terrace in McHenry, where she was known for her sense of humor and positive attitude. She is survived by Kay Shackelford and Erv Kvidera of Cary along with other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, William and George Bloner; and a sister, Frances Bloner. There will be a Memorial Mass celebrated at 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, at Sts. Peter Paul Church, 410 S.

First Cary. The Rev. Stephen St. Jules will officiate. Burial will be in St.

She retired from Oak Industries after 21 years of employment. She will be missed by many people who had the pleasure of calling her "Grandma Britt." She is survived by her children, Amy (Jim) Verseman and Ray (Monica) Bobek; her grandchildren, Rick (Marie) Verseman, Kyle Bobek, Adam Duerr, Erica Verseman, Heidi Verseman and Dan Bobek; her sister-in-law, Lola Nelson; a niece, June Van Der Heyden; and a great-niece, Aimee Van Der Heyden. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Kurt and Bernt Nelson; and a nephew, Arthur Van Der Heyden.

The visitation and funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, and the funeral will be at noon at the Bethany Lutheran Church, 76 W. Crystal Lake Crystal Lake. The Rev.

3, 2007 He had a love of flying and was proud of his single-engine plane CARY Steven M. Hildebrand, 49, of Cary, formerly of Elgin, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, in a flying accident. Steve was born and raised in Elgin. He was a union carpenter for Lenny Szarek Inc.

He had a love of flying and was so proud of his Yakovlev 52, a singleengine plane. He had a love of cooking, fishing and boating. He had a great sense of humor and loved making other people laugh. He died on Labor Day in a flying accident. He was flying in his plane with his best friend and flying teacher, Dave Burdine.

He was the proud father of four sons, Tony, Jason, Sean and Danny; and grandfather of Brianna. He will be missed by his sister, Debby (Jim) Fox, and his many nieces and nephews, family members, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mary Hildebrand. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept.

6, at Faith Community Church, 10547 Faiths Way, Huntley. Pastor Mike Fish will officiate. Cake and coffee will be served at the church after the memorial service. 2, 2007; in Woodstock He was a veteran of the Naval Air Corps during World War JOHNSBURG Berndt R. Huntington, 84, a longtime resident of Johnsburg, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007, at the Memorial Medical Center in Woodstock. He was born Jan. 6, 1923, in Chicago, to Ripley D.

and Melba A. (Berndt) Huntington. He married Marie Jackson at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg. He served his country in the Naval Air Corps during World War II.

He attended the University of Illinois. He was employed with Woodstock Die Cast for 30 years before his retirement. Survivors include his grandchildren, Hunter, Wiley and Natalie Nelson, all of Nevada; his brothersin-law, Edward (Adeline) Jackson of Harvard a and James (Sandra) Jackson of Woodstock; and his sistersin-law, Kathryn Michelau of Grayslake, Betty Jackson of McHenry, Joyce Jackson of Woodstock and Glorice Jackson of McHenry. Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; the love of his life, his wife, in 1973; his only daughter, Julie, in 1998; his brothers-in-law, Joe, George and Art Jackson, Ben Michelau and Frank May; and by his sister-in-law, Connie May.

OAKS Born: Aug. 8, 1917; in Chicago Died: Sept. 3, 2007; in McHenry She was a member of numerous church organizations and quilting groups McHENRY Vera L. Oaks (Strohm) 90, of McHenry, formerly of Wheeling and Wauconda, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, at her home.

She was born Aug. 8, 1917, in Chicago. She was a member of Wauconda Homemakers, tge Red Hat Society, and the Northern Illinois Quilters Association of McHenry County. She was one of the founders of Sew'N Sews. She was a member of numerous church organizations and quilting groups.

Survivors include her children, Nancy Gearhart, Robert (Patricia) and Christine (Edward) Richards; six grandchildren; and 10 -grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph, and her brothers, Kenneth and Arthur Strohm. Memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, until the memorial service at 11 a.m.

He was born May 28, 1959 in Elgin to Dorothy A. (Mahoney) and John L. Pahr. He was employed for 20 years at Midas Muffler in Villa Park and later at Merlin Muffler in Cary. He loved to fish, and was an avid golfer and a loyal fan of the Cubs and Bears.

He was known for his quick wit and dry sense of humor. Anyone who knew him loved him, and he will be sorely missed. Survivors include his beloved mother, Dorothy; his four children, Raymond, Rebecca, Kyle and Kaylee, who reside with his former wife, Mia Teich in Dixon; six loving siblings, Helen Kerwin, Mary (Sam) Bender, Robert (Kathryn), Nanette Johnson, Michael Pahr and Denise Pahr. In addition, he was a wonderful fun loving uncle to 14 nieces and nephews, and 19 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4918 E. Wonder Lake Road, Wonder Lake. The Rev.

5, 2007; in Crystal Lake She was elected into the McHenry County Bowling Hall of Fame CRYSTAL LAKE Gloria S. Predni, 64, of Crystal Lake, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, in her home. She was born in Spokane, on Sept. 26, 1942, to Harry and Alice (Edwards) Kreusch.

She married Robert J. Predni on Sept. 26, 1975, in Crystal Lake. She was "A Bowler" and May 13, 1997, she was elected into the McHenry County Bowling Hall of Fame. For 20 years, she served as McHenry County's state and national representative to the Women's International Bowling State Bowling Congress.

She was the president of the McHenry County Women's Bowling Association for six years, and served as secretary for many women's and mixed couples' leagues in the county. She always found time for her family. Besides being their mother, the children considered her their best friend and she instilled in them her love of books and reading. She is survived by her husband; her mother, Alice Kreusch; her children, Michael (Gail) Baugh, Heidi (Michael) Eubanks, Chari (Michael) Dodge, and Joseph Predni; her grandchildren, Meira, Daniel, Rebecca, Kyle, Courtney, Emily, Jessica, April, David, Logan, Autumn, and Hayley; and her greatgrandchildren, Tristan and Eyon. She was preceded in death by her father and a daughter, Stephanie.

Prayers will start at 10:30 a.m. from Skaja Bachmann Funeral Home, 7715 West Route 14, Crystal Lake, and proceed at 11 a.m. to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, where the funeral Mass will be celebrated. Interment will be in Windridge Cemetery.

4, 2007; in Cary He was a member of St. Mark Episcopal Church and enjoyed traveling, music, and was an avid reader CARY Robert H. Seehausen, 78, of Cary, formerly of Barrington, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007, at his home. He was born July 27, 1929, in Evanston.

He received a bachelor of arts and a masters of business administration in finance from Northwestern University. He began his career with the Standard Oil of New Jersey, now known as Exxon. He worked for many years as a fund manager for various financial institutions. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was a member of St. Mark Episcopal Church and enjoyed traveling, music, and was an avid reader. Survivors include his wife, Sandra avid reader. Stilling-Seehausen (Whiting), whom he married May 25, 2002, at St. Mark Episcopal Church; his children, Bob (Frances) Seehausen of Lewisville, N.C., Martha (Kevin) Kane of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, Matthew, Melissa, Richard Seehausen, Fiona and Michael Kane, Naomi, Air, Molly, Nathaniel and Benjamin, children of Beth and Steven Jacobs, Breanna, Maggie, Julia and Damen, children of Karen and Brian Krzyzak and Ashley, Claire and Charlie, children of Michael and Jenny Stilling; a sister, June (Ron) Anderson of Hendersonville, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret "Peggy" (Dallas) Seehausen, whom he married June 8, 1957, in New York; and his parents, Gilbert Bernard and Hazel (Wagner) Seehausen. The visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington.

He will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark Episcopal Church, 337 Ridge Road, Barrington Hills.
