He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5040 in Woodstock and was a member of its honor guard. He was involved in Woodstock Little League for many years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Woodstock for more than 40 vears. Survivors include his wife; a son.
