SHAVER, HAROLD L. Holt Age 78, passed away July 21, 1991. He was born June 8, 1913 in Clare County and had been a resident of the LansingHolt area for the past 50 years, coming here from Clare. He was employed by Oldsmobile for 31 years in the Forge Plant and Die Room, retiring in 1972; was a nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; father, Al; brother, Vernell; and sister, Velma.

Religious services will be conducted by the Rev. Gerald W. Smith of St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Estes-Leadley HoltDelhi Chapel with interment in Maple Ridge Cemetery.

NOTHSTINE, LAURA F. Mancelona Naples, FL Formerly of East Lansing Died Sunday, July 21, 1991 in Traverse City and had lived in the East Lansing area prior to retirement. She belonged to the East Lansing Child Study Club, the Michigan State University Facu-lity Folk Club, American Association of University Women, Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, and the Okemos Community Church. She is survived by her husband, Leo Nothstine; 4 sons, Thomas of Mt. Pleasant, William of Battle Creek, Charles of Newport News, VA, and Major James of Honolulu, HI; and 8 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association. Arrangements were handled by the Paullin Funeral Home, Age 89, died July 22, 1991 at the Ovid Convalescent Manor. He was born in Boyne City and lived in the Clinton County area most of his life working as a farmer and a self-employed carpenter. His first marriage was to Leila (Edgar), and his second to Hazel (Hayes) Hiar, both of whom have preceded him in death.

Mr. Hiar is survived by 5 stepchildren, Mrs. Wilbur (Geraldine) Sisco of Lansing, Wayne Hiar of Haslett, Charles Hiar of Crystal, Leon Hiar of Las Vegas, NV and Donald Hiar of Ovid; 2 sisters, Ella Mae Smith of Mason and Mrs. Harold (Sarah) Long of Boyne City; 1 brother, Alton Hiar of Rockford; 1 step-sister, Gladys Rasmussen of Laings-burg; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Charles Hiar, Sr.

She was born in Kalkaska on December 29, 1922 and has been a resident of Lansing for many years, coming here from Kalkaska. She was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church of Kalkaska; was retired from the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center after 8 years of service; and was also retired from the Lansing School District after 12 years of service. Tuesday and Wednesday where WYBLE, THOMAS J. Charlotte Age 66, died July 21, 1991 at his residence. Mr. Wyble was born in Kalamo Township, Eaton County the son of Thomas and Cecil (Rolfe) Wyble. He was a lifelong farmer and General Supervisor at Oldsmobile for 32 years before his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Kay; 2 daughters, Maureen (Michael) Orman of Vermontville and Valerie (Brian) Hudson of Charlotte; 2 sons, Thomas (Kristine) Wyble of Vermontville and Michael R. (Kim-berly) Wyble of Charlotte; 6 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mildred Tre-loar of Charlotte, Helen Osman of Jackson and Lois Rich of Eaton Rapids; 3 brothers, Robert and Clayton Wyble, both of Charlotte and Theodore Wyble of Lansing. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Cleo, Roland, Merle and Valorise (Bo) Wyble; and sister, Martha Axtell. Perry Formerly of Williamston Age 67, died July 22, 1991 in Perry. She was born April 26, 1924 in Ann Arbor, ML She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary 296 for 33 years and Treasurer for the past 19 years. Surviving are her husband, Lewis Wayne; 1 daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Sandra) Emery of Okemos; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; her father, Lloyd Boyce and wife, Josephine of Nevada; 2 stepbrothers, Kenneth and Beverly Ben-field of Nevada and Wayne and Martha Benfield of Illinois; 1 stepsister, Janette and Dick Ernest of Nevada; and special aunt, Metta Buchanan of Spring Arbor. Lansing Age 85, died at home Sunday, July 21, 1991 after enjoying one of his favorite pastimes, watching Tigers baseball. He was born January 10, 1906 in Livingston County and worked at Fisher Body for 25 years before joining Reo Motors from which he retired.

He is survived by his wife, Mary K. Miner; his daughter, Georgia A. Nutkins of Lansing; 2 sons, Harold (Er-lene) Miner, Jr. of Morristown, TN and Jack (JoAnn) Miner of Lansing; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grand SPURBECK, MERRILL E. Dimondale Age 68, died July 22, 1991.

Born February 19, 1923 in Michigan, Mr. Spurbeck was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy; and was a member of the Moose Lodge and the V.F.W. in Florida. He is survived by his wife, Eunice 1 daughter, Lynne (James) Napier of Florida; 2 sons, Jack (Ann) Vaillancourt of Eaton Rapids and Michael Spurbeck of Florida; 3 granddaughters; 4 grandsons; 3 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Marion.
