today GRAND LEDGE (5-0) AT EAST LANSING (4-1): East Lansing's Lynn C. And the Trojans can force their way back into the CAAC Blue race with a win over the Comets, who are ranked No. 5 in Division 1 and the league's co-leader along with Holt. Grand Ledge beat East Lansing 42-7 last year, but this one should be much closer in front of full bleachers.

Lansing Catholic was perhaps a surprise early, but not any more especially after last week's comeback win over No. 9 Williamston. Portland already has lost to the Hornets, but this game offers the Raiders a chance to force a three-way tie for the league title and Portland no doubt will rely on a heavy size advantage tonight in that attempt.

Both are 3-0 in the league, meaning the winner clinches a share of the championship. Fowlerville had a tough time earlier this season with a similar spread offense run by Lansing Catholic. But the Gladiators have a size advantage on the Panthers that could allow them to run well and keep this one close.
