Burglars entered the Plggly-Wiggly grocery store at 6005 Kingsbury avenue at 3 a. yesterday, rolled out a 600-pound safe and hauled it away in an automobile. The safe contained about $600. It was found at 5 a. on the Manchester Road, near Barthold's Grove, where the robbers had broken it open.

The money was gone. This is the first store in the Pig-gly-Wlggly chain to be robbed. The Kroger stores have been entered many times. Henry Carter, 6009 Kingsbury avenue, notified the police. He said he saw the robbers leaving the store.
