205 FAMILY WANT-ADS Firm planning mall outside Grand Rapids GRAND RAPIDS (AP) Dayton-Hudson Corp. reports it is planning a $22 million shopping mall in suburban Grandville. Officials of the Minneapolis-based firm said Tuesday they will appear before the Grandville City Commission on Dec. 6 seeking to rezone 130 acres for commercial use. Dan Swantko, a corporation spokesman, said construction on the mall should begin in 1983.

Grandville officials said considering the request for rezoning will take 60 to 90 days. Severed finger helps police solve robbery NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. AP) -An index finger, severed when a shotgun accidentally discharged during a bank robbery, gave police the clue that they needed a fingerprint to arrest a suspect in the case. Robert Martin, 21, of Newark was arrested Monday at a New York City hospital where he was recovering from an injured left hand, police said. Martin told hospital officials that a mugger had shot him.

Detective Capt. John Connors said two men held up a teller at Broad National Bank here on Nov. 17, threatening to kill her if she didn't open a safe. When she complied, one of the men leaped over a counter, but his gun discharged, Connors said. The blast struck the robber's gloved left hand, blowing off his finger, Connors said.

The two fled with about $3,000, and the other suspect is still being sought, Connors said. The print from the severed finger was matched with Martin's fingerprints from a previous arrest record.
