R. White of 92 Shady wood lane, became the bride cf Charles E. Wacconer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Waggoner of Indianapolis, Friday in the chapel of the First Methodist church.

The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Grant L. Jordan cf the Upton Avenue Methodist church. Mrs. Russell Ritter of Bluffton, was matron of honor and Mrs.

Robert Souders was the bridesmaid. Mr. Ritter and Mr. Souders were the bridegroom's attendants. Tha bride wore a frost blue suit and had a wreath of bronze mums in her hair.

She carried a bouquet Ann J. Unit Names Speakers For First Meet Dr. William Alexander, Director of curriculum for the public schools, and Miss Elizabeth E. Hosking, supeiintendent of elementary education, were announced as guest speakers for the first meeting of the Ann J. Kellogg Parent-Teacher unit at a session held by the board of directors Monday afternoon in the teachers' lounge of the schcol.

The opening meeting has been scheduled for October 3 at the school. Other business discussed by board members included the playground equipment, purchased by the unit, which was installed this summer. The demand to use the equipment lias been so great that the board authorized the immediate ordering and purchase of additions to the playground facilities. The members also approved the purchase of movie strips for use in the rooms and allocated a sum of monev for tiie purchase of books for the library. It was announced that the membership drive this year will be held from September 23 to October 18.
