CLEAR LAKE. June days of the sailboats, the picturesque type of water skiff, have now returned: to. Clear Lake. More than nine sailboats are now on the lake, besides several small canoes and light boats which temporarily attach sails for the thrill of the old time sport.

Matt Olson, 58, Last Main street, Clear Lake postmaster for. two: terms during the Coolidge and Hoover administrations, died suddenly- Thursday night at a Mason City hospital.
