Connor and Hilton Lusk, a member of the faculty of the College of the Pacific. The ceremony will performed ixj the Fruitvale Metho- Episcopal church Saturday evening, June 4, at 8:30 o'clock, and a large number of invitations have been issued for the wedding. The Connor home was in Ukiah for about four years and the family ban many friends here who have henn included in the invitation to the wedding. The bride Is a graduate of ilie College of the Pacific with the of 1925. She is a member of Alpha Theta Tail sorority.

Miss Connor lias taught two years, the first in Modesto Junior college and the second at Vallejo. Mr. Lusk is a graduate of the engineer in department of the University of California. He is now instructor in engneering in the College of the Pacific and will take his bride Ahe campus following the honey- irnirVn. The young people met at summer session in the University of California.

Helena sanitarium. Mrs. Cunningham took her daughter, Louise to St. Helena n.bout two weeks ago. It was found on examination that her lungs were badly congested and pneumonia threatened.

Frances developed a severe cold this week and complications were feared. Mrs. Cunningham returned from St. Helena and took her second daughter over. Frank Cunningham accompanied his family Wednesday afternoon.

A VAN ALLEN-WILSON WEDDING The first wedding to be solemnized in the beautiful new Methodist church will be that of Miss Joy Van Allen, eldest daughter of Dr. and Mrs. L. K. Van Allen, and Ray Rollin Wilson, principal of Ukiah grammar school.

The wedding has been set for high noon, Saturday, June 25, and will be solemnized by Rev. C. Beasley. Only family members and most intimate friends will be in- Stearns of Los Angeles, will be the guests of Mr. and Mrs.

Fred Weist about June 1. Mrs. Pond is a well known club woman of the bay region. She is a past president of Laurel Hall club of San Francisco and one of the organizers and founders of Twentieth Century club of Berkeley. She is a member of the Presidents club of San Francisco.
