Arrangements are by the Hayes-Rich Funeral Home, 1176 Main Street, Fairfax JOHN DRAGON BURLINGTON John Dragon, 85, Burlington, died Monday March 26, 2001 in Starr Farm Nursing Center after a long illness.

He was born September 3, 1915, in Olyphant, the youngest of Emma was married to Myron A. Little on November 27, 1941 at St. Joseph's Church in Burlington. She was a graduate of Fanny Allen Hospital Nursing School as an RN in 1933. Emma worked as a private duty RN at Fanny Allen Hospital, Bishop DeGoesbriand Hospital, Copley Memorial Hospital, Mary Hitchcock Hospital in Hanover, N.H., Green Mountain Nursing Home and in several private homes.

She also ran the 'Little Home for the Aged' out of her own home. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Co-Cathedral in Burlington and also a member of the Cofraternity of St. Joseph's Parish. Emma is survived by her four sons, Joseph and his wife Charlotte of Milton; Anthony of Burlington; Ed-mond and his wife Anna, of Jericho; and Philip and his wife, Janine, of Oswego, N.Y.; a stepdaughter Kathleen Campbell of Strafford; her sister, Therese Miller of Ocala 19 grandchildren, and numerous greatgrandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Myron A. Little on November 3, 1974; five brothers, Armand, Fernand, Paul, John and George Martin; and two sisters Helen Baker and Mary Stocker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2001 at St. Josphs Co-Cathedral Chapel in Burlington.

Interment will follow in New Mount Calvary Cemetery, Plattsburg Avenue, Burlington. Visiting hours will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at Corbin Palmer Funeral Home, 71 S. EUNICE RYAN WHITE BURLINGTON Eunice Ryan White, 92 of Burlington, died peacefully Saturday, March 24, 2001 in Burlington Health and Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy Illness. Eunice was born June 22, 1909, in Hazardville, Conn.

She will be remembered for her quirky sense of humor and her love of music. Before her marriage, she trained and worked as a nurse at Shriners Hospital for Children in Springfield, Mass. She was married to Raymond B. White on October 30, 1930 and they lived in the Springfield and Westfield, Mass. area until his death in 1986.

In 1988, Eunice moved to Vermont to be near her daughter, Lee W. Butler. In addition to her daughter, she leaves her granddaughter Lindsay L. Butler, and her husband Richard W. Cooley, of Seattle Wash.

She was predeceased by her grandson Steven W. Butler, in 1987, and two brothers and five sisters. At her request, there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery in Westfield at the convenience of the family. The family also wishes to thank Burlington Health and Rehab for their care and kindness.

Joliet, III, and Whitehall He also served as Director of Engineering, Director of Manufacturing, Vice President of Manufacturing and retired as Senior Vice President of Business Development of Tarkett, Inc.

He continued to serve as a consultant to Tarkett, Inc. until 1992. Gen. and Mrs. Page moved back to Vermont from Morris Plains N.J.

upon his retirement and resided at Ledge Road in Morrisville. During his earlier years in Vermont, Gen. Page was very active in many organizations. He was an avid supporter of the L.C.A. Drama Club, transporting their props to many play contests.

He was active in the Vermont Horse Shows Association, serving as an announcer and steward, His choldren Chan and Karen won many state championships with their horses. He was active on the Town, County and State level with the Republican Party, and served as the County Chair of the American Red Cross, President of the Hyde Park P.T.A. and was also active in the Vermont Society of Engineers, serving on its Board of Governors. He had been a Registered Professional Engineer in Vermont and a Licensed Building Inspector in New Jersey. During the period of 1981-1990, Gen.

Page was active in the Resilient Floor Covering Institute Rockville, serving as its President for two years. He was a faithful member of the Congregational Church, U.C.C., first in Hyde Park and In retirement, in Morrisville. He took an active role in both churches. He also served on the Pastoral Compensation Committee of the Vermont Conference, United Church of Christ. Gen.

Page was a member of many organizations, including the Assoc of U.S. Army, The Retired Officers Assoc, VFW Post 9653, American Legion Post 33, both of Morrisville, The Green Mountain Folklore Society, 100th Infantry Division Association and the 43rd Infantry Division Association. Funeral services will be held at 1 1:00 a.m. Friday, March 30, in the First Congregational Church of Morrisville, Main Street, with spring interment in the Hooper Cemetery, Hyde Park, visiting house will be 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2001 in the White Fiess Funeral Home, 165 Brooklyn Street, Morrisville.

A memorial service will be held on Satruday, March 31, 2001, at 2:00 p.m. in the Second Congregational United Church of Christ. LAWRENCE BURNHAM VERGENNES Marguerite Lawrence Burnham, 66, died Mon day, March 26, 2001 surrounded by her family at Fletcher Allen Health Care, Burlington. She was predeceased by her parents William and Jessie, her stepbrother Phil and step-sister Madeline. She was born October 1 1934 in Vergennes.

Marguerite graduated from Ver gennes High School In 1952. She worked for Judge Samuel Fishman as his legal clerk for 22 years, until she was hired by the State of Vermont Probate Court. She was known for her compassionate assistance at the Probate Court for over twenty years. Also, she worked as a bookkeeper for Dr. Joseph Bottamini.

She was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, and a member of The Order of the Eastern Star Libanus Chapter 47, in Bristol. She was a charter member and secretary of the Small City Steppers, Square Dancers of Vergennes; a member of the Vermont Probate Registrars Association, and a committee member of Eva Meigs Scholarship Program. She is survived by her son Kim and his friend Susan; a daughter, Beth and her friend Craig; a granddaughter Cassandra; nephew, Phil Jr. and his wife June and their daughter Lori; and many nieces and nephews from the Burnham, Johnson, and Thompson families. She also leaves behind many faithful and loving friends.

CLARK JOHNSONJEFFERSONVILLE Myrl Hapgood Libby Clark, age 93, died peacefully at Genesis Eldercare in Morrisville, Monday afternoon, March 26, 2001. She was born in Jeffersonville on October 6, 1907, the daughter of the late Thomas and Ella Hapgood Libby. She was a graduate of Cambridge High School Class of 1927.

Myrl was married to Eugene Spaulding who predeceased her in 1964. In 1965, she married James 'Norman' Clark who predeceased her in 1992. Mrs Clark was a past member of the Cambridge United Church and the Jeffersonville Cemetery Association. She worked at the Cambridge Post Office for several years. Myrl was Godmother to Danielle and Jennifer Slayton and always looked forward to visits from Danielle's twin daughters, Kristen and Katelyn.

Myrl will be fondly remembered for her warm and caring love ky tho Fsmily whom she lovingly embraced. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially Debbie, who visited her often. She is survived by a brother. She was born March 31, 191 1 in Richmond, the daughter of Philia and Permelia Samtaw Tatro. She was a memeber of St. Am brose Catholic Church in Bristol, and Champlain Valley Fiddlers Association. She had been playing the fiddle for 85 years, and had been a volunteer fiddler at Helen Porter Nursing Home, Project Independence, Clark Nursing Home and any place they have a dance. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Brown in 1988.

She is survived by four daughters, Teresa and her husband, Joseph Robidoux of Bristol; Rosalie and her husband Kenneth Lizotte of Bristol; Barbara and her husband, John Saskiewicz of Pawling, N.Y.; and Linda and her husband, Henry Ramsey, of Bristol; six sons, Francis and his wife, Rita Brown of Bristol; Bernard Brown of Rutland; Robert and his wife, Barbara Brown of Bristol; John and his wife, Joyce Brown of Bristol; James and his wife, Belinda Brown of East Middlebury; Danny and his wife, Sue Brown of Bristol; 34 grandchildren, 42 greatgrandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2001, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Bristol. Interment will be In the spring.

Pleasant Rte 7, Middlebury, VT or Helen Porter Nursing Home, South Street, Middlebury, VT 05753 ALDEN BRYAN JEFFERSONVILLE Alden Bryan, 87, of Jeffersonville, died peacefully at his home early Tuesday, March 27, 2001. He was born in Carthage Missouri, May 3, 1913, the son of Millard and Pauline Bryan. In 1936, he married Mary Taylor Lewis, who predeceased him in September, 1978.

Both became noted artists and maintained an art gallery in the summers on Rocky Neck in Gloucester, from shortly after the war until the 1960's. Much of his life was devoted to landscape painting, and he was a member of the North Shore Arts Association, the Rockport Arts Association, and the Salama-gundi Club in New York. After coming to Vermont to paint in Lamoille County, in the fall of 1939, Alden and Mary moved to Jeffersonville and purchased the old Lang Farm, since known as Windridge Farms. Shortly after the war Alden installed a pasteurizing plant at the home farm and sold pastuerized milk in the local area. In the late 1940's Alden and Wesley Pope began the Windridge Farms Bakery in the back looms of whdl is loudy Haniiiey's Store in Jeffersonville.

In the early 1950's, they purchased Jim Beard's hardware store and opened the Windridge farms Dairy Kitchen, which is today operated by Lori and Bob Dunn as the Dinner's Dunn at the Windridge Bakery. In the early 1960's, Alden renovated and opened the Windridge Farms Inn in Jeffersonville. In the late 1960's Alden built the Windridge Tennis Center in Jeffersonville and a couple years later, with Ted Hoehn, founded the Windridge Tennis Camps which operate today under Ted Hoehn's leadership at Crafts-bury and Roxbury. In 1984, Alden built and opened the Mary Bryan Memorail Gallery in Jeffersonville. Under the leadership of his longtime friend, Jane Shaw, summer shows of many kinds with the works of many artists throughout New England twelve children born to Wasyl and Anastasia Dragon.

John was predeceased by his parents and each of his six sisters and five brothers. John married Olga Shymansky on April 22, 1939 in St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Olyphant. John's parents had been one family of several who had founded this church In 1904. John worked In the Olyphant Electric Plant while attending Scran-ton Community College, Later he moved to Schenectady, N.Y.

where he worked for General Electric for 38 years. John held many responsible positions in the Gas Turbine section of GE. These positions required him to take additional coursework at Union College. After his retirement from GE, John and Olga moved to Vermont, where John enjoypd golfing. He and Olga were also avid travelers.

John leaves his wife Olga of 61 years, his daughter, Arlene Dewitt and husband Richard and their daughters Ann and Kate of Westbo-rough. and daughter Donna Moyer and her husband Roger and their son lain of Colchester, VT and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral liturgy will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday March 30, at St. Basil's Russian Orthodox Church in Watervliet, NY where John and Olga have been members for fifty five years.

Interment will be held later in the spring. There will be no visiting hours. Funeral arrangements are by Parker Brothers Memorial Funerhome of Watervliet, and Ready Funeral Home of Burlington. MARY GRUNVALD WESTMOUNT QUEBEC This 95 year old gentle, talented and special individual passed away peacefully, to join her cherished late husband Zoltan Grunvald and eldest son Ray mond. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by a loving and devoted family, her son Marcel and daughter-in-law, Harriet; her daugh ter Liliane Benjamin and son-in-law Jules; 'Boma' to grandhcildren Hu-gette, Carine, Sabrina, Jeffrey, and Mary, Lloyd and Julie, Gary and Linda, Ronald and Rita, Steven and Sherri, Mitchell, and great-grandmother of Olivia, Jenna, Joseph, Miles, Hannah, Warren, Megan, Cody and Ryan and great-great-grandmother of Adam and Noah. EMMA MARTIN LITTLE, RN BURLINGTON Emma Little, 89, of Burlington, died Monday, March 26, 2001, in Fletcher Allen Health Care, Burlington. WARNER ST JOHNSBURY Anne F. Warner of St. Johnsbury died suddenly March 27, 2001 at the Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital NVRH at the age of 68 years. She was born In Middlebury on August 13, 1932, the daughter of Harold and Iris Little Stacy. An early education specialist, she worked many years for the St.

Johnsbury School District, where she taught and was Principal of the Lincoln Street School. Survivors include her mother, Iris Stacy of St. Johnsbury; three sons, Wade Warner and his companion Lori Ely of Danville; Neil Warner of Danville; Ray Warner of Kodiak, Alaska; two daughters, Stacy Warner of Montana; and Shelly Warner of St. Johnsbury; a sister and her husband, Phylis and Charles 'Skip' Patneaude of Norfolk, VA; seven grandchildren, Seth, Ruben, Jackie, Jill, Isaiah, Ely and Mariah, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, BRIG.

GEN. WAYNE H. PAGE AUS RET MORRISVILE B.G. Wayne H. Page Aus Ret, passed away on Monday evening, March 26, 2001 at the age of 78.

Born in Hyde Park on September 25, 1922, he was the son of Ernest C. Page and Leila W. Page. He married the former Sylvia Ward of Morrisville in 1942, and she predeceased him on June 25, 1999. Gen.

Page is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lefteris Nancy Za-phiris of Arlington, and Mrs. Raymond Karen Hoke of Allentown, and a grandson, Demetri Zaphi-ris of Brighton, He was predeceased by a son, Chandler in 1963, and a sister Mrs. Willard Helen Sanders in 1989. He is also survived by nieces, Mrs.

Ralph Su-kay Campbell, Mrs. Harold Peg Lloyd, and Ms. Patricia Sanders. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews by marriage. Gen.

Page was a 1940 graduate of Lamoille Central Academy, Hyde Park, and the University of Vermont in 1943. Enlisting in the U.S. Army, he completed basic training at Ft. McClellan Infantry OCS at Ft. Benning, and served with the 100th Infantry Division at Ft.

Bragg N.C. and in France and Germany in World War II. Upon his release from active duty, he returned to Vermont and in 1947, organized the first National Guard Company in Morrisville Company I 172nd Infantry serving as its Company Commander. Following service during the Korean Conflict, he advanced through the various Staff and Command positions to become Commander 86th Brigade. Promoted to General, December 7, 1965, he also served as Asst.

Adj. Gen Army and the Adjutant Gen-" eral in Vermont. He was a graduate of the Infantry Officers Advanced Course at Ft. Benning, Ga. the Command and General Staff College, Ft.

Leavenworth, and had completed graduate courses at George Washington University. In 1967, he left Vermont and went on inactive status. Gen. Page had been employed by the Ruberoid Company at its Vermont Asbestos Mine from 1946 to 1966, progressing through the many positions and special assignments to serve as Asst. Plant Manger.

After leaving Vermont, he was employed by the Ruberoid its successor GAF Corp and by Tarkett, Inc. having served 42 years with the same organization when he retired in 1988. He has served as plant ing Houston Charmain, (mm 'rgr- Mm. i 'LL1 LESTER M. TATRO VERGENNES Lester M.

Tatro, 78, died Sunday, March 25, 2001, in Porter Medical Center in Middlebury. He was born July 13, 1922 in Panton, the son of Arthur and Flora Miller Tatro. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Vergennes. He had been a farmer in Panton, then worked for the U.S.

Post Office In Vergennes. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 14 in Vergennes, and Addison County Eagles Club Aeries 3801, in Vergennes. Lester was predeceased by his wife Joanne L. Tatro in 1989. He is survived by two sons, Ronald Tatro and his wife Kathy of Shelburne; James Tatro of Winooski; four daughters, Barbara Feltt of Bristol Anita Pavlidis and her husband Art of Nashua, N.H.; Yvette Tatro of Colchester; and Denise Richard and her husband Tom of LdDSE WEIGHT AND KEEP IT WITH 1 Nutrition Plus Protein system using your foods restaurant foods 2.
