He rejoined'" Needham Harper in 1977 and be-came account supervisor on General Mills account. Other ac- 1 counts he worked on included Kraft and Hubba Bubba Bubble Gum. He was graduated from the Uni-ii versity of Kansas and received an master's degree from Northwestern i University in 1970. James E.

Fasules, a resident Glen Ellyn, was a retired senior vice" president and managing partner of DDB Needham Worldwide, Chica- go. He was former deputy director of the advertising agency's Chicago' office. He joined the company in 1953, I became a vice president in 1962 1 and then director of research for the. -Chicago office in 1965. He became 1 1 deputy director and a member ofa i the board of directors in 1969.

I Mr. Fasules was noted for his i work on the firm's Campbell Soup Co. and William Wrigley Jr. Co.r i accounts. Survivors include his wife, two sons, Gary and James; a daughter, Nancy, and two children.

Family members and company officials were planning funeral services for the three executives Monday. Keith Reinhard, Needham's chief executive officer, called the men "three of the most brilliant members of our Needham family." "Tomorrow, all of us will have to find our own private places to think about this," Reinhard said. "Some will find our way into churches and chapels, some will walk along the lake, some will pray and some will be angry. All of us will ask why. But we will all have to work harder at being enthusiastic, at being excited with life, to make up just a little for the loss of Gene, Stu and Jim." Stuart Sharpe, a resident of Chicago's Old Town neighborhood, was senior vice president, account management, for Needham with responsibility for the General Mills, Clorox, Frito-Lay, Hasbro, Ralston-Purina, Eveready, Maybelline and New Business accounts.

Mr. Sharpe joined the firm in 1983 when it was Needham Harper, Chicago, as senior vice president and representative of the Betty Crocker and S.C. Johnson accounts. He had worked for eight years for Compton Advertising in New York and was senior vice president and management supervisor on the Proctor Gamble, Buitoni and Dannon Yogurt accounts. Mr.

Sharpe held a bachelor's degree from the City University of New York and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University Benson films and TV Flower Drum Song" in 1961, "Our Man Flint" in 1965 and "The Strongest Man in the World" 1976. He played the Old One in the popular "Kung Fu" series starring David Carradine in the 1970s and, in the 1985 reunion television movie. At one time, he owned five Ah, Fong's restaurants in the Los geles area, but he retired from the. it business two years ago and all but, one of the eateries has closed. Mr.
