She is survived by her husband, Bill George; her mother and stepfather, Sally and Bill Young; her daughters, Heidi and Brynna Considine; her new husband's daughter and son, Marjorie George and David George, and grandson, William George; her grandmother, Natalie Elliott; three brothers, Arne, Eric and Karl Johnson and their families; a sister, Laurie Aviles and her family; two stepsisters, Carol Stevens and Theresa James and their families; a stepbrother, Scott Young; beloved aunts, uncles and cousins; and her exhusband, Joseph Considine and his family. Lann was a remarkable mother and wife, while being highly successful as an account manager at She also volunteered at David's House, a home for families whose children are stricken with cancer. Lann loved to run, cross country ski and bike, but her greatest joy came from being the mother of her daughters Heidi and Brynna. Everyone who met Lann was struck by her kindness and sweetness.

She was born on May 15, 1917, in Bristol, the daughter of Albert and Nora (0'Gorman) Bachman. Betty attended school in Bristol, Conn. She married Norton Booska in June 1944, and from Bristol, Conn.

She enjoyed playing cards and bingo. DORIS A. DEWART Jesus came to town, March 27, 2004, hung around for quite awhile. In fact He had been here since late afternoon, Friday night 1 for us any way. He welcomed Doris Dewart into His Dimension. She passed through the time frame, through the Pearly Gates at 4:56 PM Saturday, March 27th, 2004, while at the Birchwood Terrace Healthcare.

She leaves behind a lot of us; three sons, our older brother, and his wife, Allen K. Harrington and his wife, Christine and Daniel B. Ranks and his wife, Cindy. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. To Daniel and Cindy; daughter Barbara Leaders and her husband, Kris, and their children, Matthew and Branden.

Mom came into this world on August of 1911, the 25th day born Alice Doris Allen, to Halcomb Allen and Alice (Bapp) Allen. She also had a younger brother Robert. She married Lloyd W. Harrington in 1930 and together they raised three sons, Raymond another son, and Allen K. There was an older brother mom gave up to let God raise for her.

After 17 years they became unhappy with each other and divorced. She again married a man, Hildreth Ranks, but that marriage failed also. She is survived by her sisters, Hilda Rock and Rosa Tavianini of Monterey Park, with whom she lived for the last four years of her life. Mrs. Cesario is also survived by six nephews, two nieces, several great-nephews and great-nieces, and one great-great-nephew. Visiting hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, in the Ready Funeral Home South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Road, Burlington.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Burlington, where Mrs. Cesario was a parishioner, on Thursday, April 1, at 10 a.m. Immediately following the Mass, interment will be in the Hope Cemetery in Barre. LYNNE (LEWIS) LIBERTY RICHMOND Lynne (Lewis) Liberty, 59, died Monday, March 29, 2004, in the Vermont Respite House, with her loving family at her side, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Rutland on July 15, 1944, the daughter of the late Edwin H. and Leora Ida (Richards) Lewis.

She was a graduate of Burlington High School in 1960. On 27, 1960, Lynne married Robert Harold Liberty in St. Joseph Church in Burlington. Lynne had many hobbies and interests. She especially loved riding her Harley with her husband and family members.

She always enjoyed her beautiful and bountiful flower gardens which she shared with neighbors and friends. Lynne was a talented seamstress and was wellknown in the community for the lovely doll clothes she designed and made. She also enjoyed sewing for her grandchildren whom she adored. Lynne will always be remembered for her feisty personality, frankness, superior wit, and endless tales family, friends and experiences. She loved her time with family and made all holidays and special occasions memorable for all of her grandchildren.

Lynne was looking forward to spending time, during her retirement, on the road traveling to unseen places Robert and spending time with her grandchildren at their school activities and sporting events. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert of Richmond; their three children and their spouses, Todd and Andra Liberty of Duxbury, Laurie and Mike Brisbin of Bolton, Troy and Lisa Liberty of Richmond; her six grandchildren, Mariah and Logan Liberty, Travis and Ashley Brisbin and Rebecca and Courtney Liberty; her brother, Craig Lewis and his wife Peggy of Milton; and several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and devoted friends. VERGENNES Eugene F. Tanner Sr. 70, died Sunday, March 28, 2004, in Porter Medical Center in Middlebury. He was born on Nov. 13, 1933, in Sutton, Quebec, Canada, the son of Herbert and Frances (Frechette) Tanner.

Eugene own and operated Eugene Tanner and Co. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and lawn sale enthusiast. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Daniels) Tanner of Vergennes; seven children, Patty Speth and companion Mike of Massachusetts, Jeff Tanner and companion Etta of Ferrisburgh, Kelly Tanner and companion Jim of New Hamphire, Mike Tanner and companion Jackie of Maine, Karen Norton and husband Kevin of Bristol, Eugene Tanner Jr. of Rutland and Jason Tanner of Vergennes; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his dog Jake, sister Chestine Gerrow of Swanton, two brothers, Richard Tanner of Fairfield and Carlton Tanner of Enosburg, several nieces and nephews, and former wife Pauline Rheaume. Funeral services will be held Wednesday Mar.

SOUTH BURLINGTON O'BRIEN, James D. A largely attended Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, March 29, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. in St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church by the Rev. John Hamilton.

Concelebrants were Rev. Leo Bilodeau, Rev. Stephen Hornat, S.S.E., and assisted by Deacon Joseph Lane. The pall was placed on his casket by granddaughters, Kristin, voted to authorize the creation of a regional technical academy school district and for a board to govern it. The vote allowed for continued planning on the school.

The current timeline has the final project up for voter approval in November. But backers, including Hester, have admitted there is a lot of planning yet to be done. The board will hold its next meeting early next month. Contact Jill Fahy at 660-1898 or Classifieds work! 658-3321 Paid Notices ALICE JEAN KRUIDENIER STOWE Alice Jean Kruidenier, born in Corning, N.Y., on May 25, 1944, passed away peacefully at her home in Stowe on Sunday, March 28, 2004, with her family by her side. Alice valiantly fought colon cancer for two years and her family will miss her greatly.

Alice received her associate's degree in music education at Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, and later went on to receive her bachelor's degree in business administration from Trinity College of Burlington. Alice moved to Vermont in 1969 and raised her family in Chittenden County. She was employed at IBM for 13 years as a financial analyst. One of Alice's loves was music. She served several churches in music leadership roles, including Grace United Methodist in Essex Junction, First Congregational Church in Burlington, and most recently as music director at Stowe Community Church.

Alice served as director of the Champlain Echoes from 1982 1994, leading them to three Harmony Inc. International Chorus Championships. She also sang in numerous quartets entertaining audiences everywhere. Alice established the "Young Vocies of Stowe" which encourages and inspires young people in the community to use their vocal talents in the spirit of song. Alice's truest love was her family.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Greg Morrill; her children, Laura (Nichols) and husband Dr. Paul Winters of Morrisville, and son Curt Nichols and wife Joanne of Gorham, Maine; as well as Curtis Nichols, father of her two children; three grandchildren, Jessica and Jacob Winters, and Jillian Nichols; her brother, James Kruidenier of Amherst, Mass. Alice was predeceased by her parents, Henry Kruidenier and her brother Daniel. She will also be greatly missed by all of those she influenced with her love, faith, and talent. Alice had the remarkable ability to affect everyone she met from the very young to the young at heart.

A celebration of her life will be held in the Stowe Community Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 17. Those wishing to commemorate her spirit may make donations to the Vermont Cancer Center, Attn: Amy Gilman, 210 Colchester Farrell Hall, Room 215, Burlington, Vt. 05401. ELEONORA ROSA CESARIO MONTEREY PARK, BURLINGTON Eleonora Rosa Cesario, known to her family as Rena, a former resident of Burlington, passed away at the age of 93 in California on March 24, 2004, following a short illness. She was born on Dec. 16, 1910, in Crema, Italy near Milan, and came to the United States with her family at the age of two. Her parents, Natale and Giuseppina Mistrangioli, settled in Orange County, Vt. where Rena attended school.

Rena moved to the state of New York as a young woman, and went to work at the Ronzoni Pasta Company in Long Island City, N.Y. During her 30 years of employment at Ronzoni, she was a member of the Bakery and Confectionary Workers Union. She retired from the Ronzoni Company in 1972. While living in New York, she met and married Angelo Cesario, who Sara and Kelly Wyand. The readings were proclaimed by O'Brien and Kiley O'Brien, granddaughters.

The offertory gifts were presented by Keri Schug, Maggie O'Brien and Elizabeth O'Brien, granddaughters. Words of Remembrances were offered by his granddaughter, Carol VanWormer. Draping the U.S. flag on his casket was by granddaughters, Jillian O'Brien, Erin Malloy, Katie Granger and Molly Cronin. Ushers were his nieces, Katie Dassatti, Kary Towne, Susan O'Brien and Sharon Hickey.

Music was provided by Lois Desautels, organist and Nancy Green, vocalist. Attending were many relatives, friends, neighbors, Sisters of Mercy and U.S. Postal Service representatives. Interment followed in Resurrection Park Cemetery with Fr. Hamilton, Fr.

Bilodeau and Deacon Lane reading committal prayers. Full military honors were accorded with the U.S. flag being presented to his wife, Pauline Perreault O'Brien, by the Vermont Army National Guard. Bearers were his son, James D. O'Brien and grandsons, Sean O'Brien, Eli Cronin, Eric O'Brien, James and Robert Malloy.
