Rivers shown are Mls- sissippi, Arkansas, Red and St. Francis rivers. Mississippi County's place on the "map Is shown with real bolls of cotton,*, because It Is the largest cotton producing county in tlio world, and with a seal showing It is the home • of National cotto.'i "- Picking contest sponsored by the local Jaycees. Towns of Blytheville and Osceolft arc shown in white print, The words "First in Agriculture" are shown in Northeast Arkansas. A photograph of Gov. Ben Laney decorates the center of the map, where little Rock, the capital, also Is located. Oil fields of the El Dorado section are shown by vials containing various^ kinds of petroleum, products from these fields, the nearby mines, located 40 miles south of Hot Springs, are shown ' by a sparkling illumination. The extensive Rural Electrification Administration program is shown by tiny towers for the electric system.
