Asheville Citizen-Times, Sunday, June Deanna Lynn Hickernell Hickernell-Bartlett Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Bartlett PENNDEL, Pa. Deanna Lynn Hickernell of Philadelphia and Jeffrey Gene Bartlett of Weaverville, N.C., were married at 2 p.m. Saturday at Independent Baptist Church.

Pastor Roger Hickernell, father of the bride, and the Rev. Lewis 0. Bartlett performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Pastor and Mrs. Roger ilickernell of Philadelphia.

Her parents gave. her in marriage. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Russell Bartlett of Weaverville.

His father was best man. Maid of honor was Christina Pross of Levittown, Pa. Bridesmaids were Denise Kenney of Battle Creek, sister of the bride, Tammy Mitchum St. Stephens, S.C., Pam Gensler of Lexington, and Donna Cartwright of Norwood, Pa. Junior attendants were Amanda Edwards and David Hickernell, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Russell Bartlett of Weaverville, brother of the bridegroom, Ron Allen Kenney of Battle Creek, brother-in-law of the bride, Keith Melton of Black Mountain, N.C., and Jonathan Nobles of Woodbridge, Va. A reception followed. The bride is a senior at Tabernacle Baptist Bible College a in Greenville, S.C. She is employed by Totally Tots Child Care. The bridegroom, also a senior at Tabernacle Baptist Bible College, is employed by Bartlett Construction Co.

Tenn. The bride, who received a bachelor's degree in early childhood education in 1990 from Western Carolina University, is a teacher for Cherokee Central Schools. The bridegroom, who received a bachelor's degree in industrial distribution from WCU, is a cost analyst for Kearfott in Swannanoa. Ledbetter-Hunter FAIRVIEW Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Ann Ledbetter of Asheville and Ralph Nolan Hunter, Jr. of Fairview were married at 4 p.m.

Saturday at Chestnut Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Norris Wright officiated. The bride is the daughter of Ann Haney Ledbetter of Asheville and Allen H. Ledbetter Sr.

of Kingsport, Tenn. She was given in marriage by her brother, Allen H. Ledbetter Jr. of Asheville. The bridegroom is the son of Eunice E.

Hunter of Fairview and the late Ralph Nolan Hunter Sr. Amy Lee Buckrer of Brevard was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Christy Blankenship and Tammy Arrowood, both of Fairview. Junior attendants were Lauren Nicole Moore and Christopher Hartwell. Kosta Gaintanis of Asheville was best man.
