"THAT '70S SHOW" (8-9 p.m. Fox) In the first of back-to-back reruns, Eric loses his car privileges. In the second, he has his first date with Donna. "THANKS" (8:30 CBS) Last week's offbeat opener had the Pilgrims barely surviving their first winter in America. Tonight, they "KING OF QUEENS" (8 p.m.

CBS) This rerun has ideal casting. Playing a love interest for Arthur (Jerry Stiller) is Anne Meara Stiller's real-life wife and for- 'Passions' soap isn't in harmony with town Files' that is, sex, duplicity and a touch of the occult. In its first week, "Passions" sparked a passionate public outcry after a plot line propelled Sheridan Crane, the socialite daughter from the town's most moneyed family, into a car crash in the same Paris tunnel where Princess Diana died nearly two years ago. Even dicier, Diana was referred to as Sheridan's friend. NBC said it meant no offense.

Many real-Harmony residents can't get NBC without a satellite dish (it airs at 2 p.m. EDT in most markets), so they can't tune in to glimpse their sordid twin city. If they did, they would see a hip town with a cast of beautiful young people who speak without Maine accents and sport the latest big-city fashions. The typical wardrobe in the real Harmony is jeans, T-shirts, flannels and work boots befitting its working-class roots. "We don't have rich people like that," said Carolyn Leone, 17, who joined Vautier at his booth at "It's not our town, but we wish it was," added Joe Dorson, 22.

What the real Harmony lacks in urban chic is made up for with rural character. The town has miles of woods and fields, a post office, volunteer fire department, elementary school, public park, two general stores, a town office and a couple of garages. The Grange doubles as a Bingo hall. The real Maine town is nothing like the one portrayed in the NBC soap. The Associated Press HARMONY, Maine The coast may be a great place for lovers, but don't go there in search of "Passions." The fictional Harmony featured in NBC's steamy new soap opera is actually composed of shots made in the picturesque Maine seaside towns of Camden, Belfast and Rockland.

Otherwise, the soap, which premiered a month ago, is taped in California. The real Harmony is about 120 miles from the ocean, nestled in woods between Moose-head Taxidermy and Lumberjack Lodges. And life in the community in the central Maine woods is a lot different from the TV show that dwells on four turbulent, over-the-top families. "A lot of people just drink beer, drive through the woods and go fishing. That's Harmony life," Matthew Vautier, 21.

For the record, the real Harmony has no fish cannery, no sprawling mansions, no newspapers, no tycoons, no cafes, no hospital, no police officers and no blacks or Hispanics.
