83, of 1512 Oak Dover, died Thursday in the Dover Nursing Center after a long illness. Born near New Philadelphia, she was a daughter of John and Emma Fox Lewis, and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Dover. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter and son. Mrs.

Donald (Florence) Becker of Dover and Lawrence Minnis of RD 4, New Philadelphia; 15 grandchildren; 32 great- grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild, and two sisters, Helen Phenicie of Akron and Mrs. William (Ethel) Schneiter of Canton. A son, two daughters, a sister and two brothers preceded her in death. Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, where friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.

Rev. Reinhard Krause will officiate and interment will be in Dover Burial Park. Dario Besozzi UHRICHSVILLE Dario A. Besozzi, 64, of 323 N. East st.

died of a heart attack early this morning at Twin City Hospital. Born at Wainwright, he was a son of the late Louis and Therese Galli Besozzi. A life resident of here and Wainwright, he was employed at Republic Steel in Massillon, where he had worked for 28 years. He was a member of Dennison Eagles. Surviving is his widow, the former Mary Grandison, whom he married in 1931, and a brother, Carl Besozzi of Akron.

Two brothers preceded him in death. Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in Uhrich-Hostettler Funeral Home, where friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Rev. Clyde Carter will officiate and burial will be in Union Cemetery.

Mrs. Lena Manbeck BEACH CITY Mrs. Lena Manbeck, 89, died early today in the Country Lawn Nursing Home at Navarre. A native of the Winesburg area, she resided here before moving to the nursing home several years ago. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ at Winesburg.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Treva) Fahrni and Mrs. Bernard (Arline) Shue, both of here; six grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Rev. Dean V.

Rousch will officiate at services Sunday at 2 in the Desvoignes Funeral Home at Mount Eaton where friends may call Saturday from 7 to 9. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Mary Miller FREDERICKSBURG Mrs. Mary Ann Miller, 71, of RD 2, who had been ill a month, died Thursday in her home.

She was a member of the Old Order Amish and was the widow of Jacob Miller, who died in 1948. Surviving are a son and four daughters, Levi J. Miller of the home, Mrs. Joni (Verna) Troyer of Millersburg, Mrs. Peter (Barbara) Troyer of RD 2, Apple Creek, Mrs.

Noah (Clara) Troyer of RD 2, here, and Mrs. Paul (Annie) Miller of RD 1, Dundee; a brother and three sisters, Andy Schlabach of Napanee, Mrs. Andy Wengerd of Winesburg. Mrs. John Helmuth of RD 1, Dundee, and Mrs.

Amos Yoder of RD 5, Millersburg; a half-brother, Levi Schlabach of RD 1, Dundee; 32 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be Sunday at 9 a.m. in the residence with Andy Weaver officiating. Burial will be in the Raymond Hershberger family cemetery in Holmes County. Desvoignes Funeral Home at Mt.

Eaton is handling arrangements. Friends may call at the home. Elmo Getz NEW BEDFORD Elmo Dallas Getz, 67, of 10201 Dixie Highway. Louisville, a resident here until about 10 years ago, died Thursday in a Louisville hospital after a brief illness. A son of the late Ernest and Lucy Senst Getz, he was a retired salesman and a member of the United Church of Christ here.

His first wife, Erma Ducommun Getz, died in 1962. Surviving are his widow, Frances, a daughter, Mrs. Doren (Pat) Pepper of Columbus; several stepchildren; a sister and two brothers, Mrs. Charlotte Hummell and Dennis and Reno Getz of Baltic, and two grandchildren. A sister and brother are deceased.

Services will be Sunday in Lingler Funeral Home at Baltic with Rev. Welton Stein officiating. Burial will be in the United Church of Christ Cemetery. who died Wednesday in Coshocton Hospital where he had been a patient three weeks. Born at Anniston, he was a retired laborer. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Sally Spencer of Canton; six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren. Rev.

SE, New Philadelphia, a retired Union Township clerk, a post he held 28 years, and a former member of the Midvale board of education, died Thursday in Union Hospital after a long illness. Born in Uhrichsville, a son of A.D. and Ine Leggett Walker, he was married to Harriet Smith Walker with whom he observed a 46th wedding anniversary Jan. 1. He was a member of Roxford United Methodist Church and Leesville Masonic Lodge.

Surviving in addition to his widow are a son and two daughters, Larry Walker of Columbus, Mrs. George (Ruby) Beans and Mrs. Ralph (Betty) Patterson, both of RD 1, New Philadelphia; two brothers and two sisters, Mrs. Blain Walker and Mrs. George (Frances) Couch of New Philadelphia, Otis Walker of RD 1, Sherrodsville, and Mrs.

Doris Schwartz of Beaumont, Tex; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A granddaughter preceded him in death. Services will be Sunday at 2 in Roxford United Methodist Church with Rev. A.J. Johnson officiating.

Burial will be in Roxford Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Kaserman-Naylor Funeral Home. Ward Roth GNADENHUTTEN Ward Roth, 72, of 220 N. Plum st. died of an apparent heart attack in his home.

Born in Tuscarawas, a son of Eugene and Minnie Glass Roth, he was a member of the local United Methodist Church and its Men's Bible Class. He had been employed by Kennedy IGA Market here following his retirement from Larson Clay Co. His first wife, the former Edna Hill, died in 1932. Surviving are his widow, the former Katheriite Richards; two sons, David of RD 1 and Thomas of Dover, and a brother and a sister, Glen and Mrs. Robert (Marian) Frank of Port Washington.

A daughter and a brother preceded him in death. Services will be Sunday at 2 p. TI. in the United Methodist Church with Rev. Ernest Murphy offciating.

Burial will be in Gnadenhutten Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Botimer Funeral Home. Eugene Strohacker COSHOCTON Services for Eugene Strohacker, 51, of 1500 S. 14th who died Wednesday in Memorial Hospital where he was a patient 12 days, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Dawson Funeral Home.

Rev. E.L. Jefferson will officiate and burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Born in Adamsville, a son of Therlane Dallas and Cora Kreider Strohacker, he was a retired carpenter, and had worked for the Darner and Blount Construction companies.

He had served in World War II and he was a member of the Conesville United Methodist Church, Carpenters Local 525, and the Elks. Surviving are two sons, Richard of Columbus and Larry of here; four sisters and a brother, Mrs. Clarence (Helen) Martter and Mrs. John (Mary) Taylor of Lakeworth, Mrs. Harold (Isabell) Hall Jr.

of North Palm Beach, Mrs. Henry (Beulah) Hendricksen of Palm Beach Shores, and Alton Strohacker of RD 1, Dresden and one grandson. One brother preceded him in death. Edward Schlabach WINESBURG Edward Jacob Schlabach died Thursday in Akron Childrens' Hospital, where he was flown by helicopter 13 days ago following his premature birth in Mount Eaton Clinic. Surviving are his parents, John R.

and Mary Yoder Schlabach of Star Route, Millersburg; grandparents, Mrs. Katie Schlabach of RD 2, Fredericksburg, and Milo and Sarah Yoder of Star Route, Millersburg, and a great-grandfather, John Schlabach of RD 2, Fredericksburg. Services will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the home of the parents, where friends may call. Burial will be in the Abe D.

The charges stem from a call to the city police department Tuesday at 1:50 a.m. from a Donald Wohlheter. 47. of 941S. 7th who was at the El Toro Cafe on S.

2nd st. When the police arrived there they found Wohlheter had been assaulted and robbed by two men. Wohlheter was taken to Coshocton County Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for severe lacerations about the head, body and rib injuries. He was not dismissed until today. The incident is under investigation.

Restitution was made to the market, and she was assessed $6 court costs. Thomas Wallick, 40, of 200 W. Slingluff av. was fined $16 for failure to yield the right-of- way, stemming from an accident Tuesday at N. Walnut and 8th and Fred Sherbinksy, 23, of Cleveland was fined $16 for failure to stop within the assured clear distance.

told police Thursday that a window in a garage at the rear of his home was broken Wednesday, the second window to be broken in the garage within the past few weeks. UHRICHSVILLE-An assault and battery charge against Billy Blaine Bryant of rear 129 E. Canal Newcomerstown, was dropped in southern district court by Leona Bryant of RD 1, Newcomerstown.
