Featherstone was down with bowel trouble this week. Will Vaughn was taken down with typhoid fever at his home on Eastwood and is reported a very sick man. Miss Lennie Downing is quite sick. Mrs. G.

W. Mitchell, of southeast of town, is reported very sick. Her children have been called home. Miss Louise Ordway, who came home from Kansas City sick, has typhoid fever. L.

F. Leyhe returned Monday from Lancaster where he was call ed on account of his fathers illness He reported him better. Albert Pollard of near Mt. Leonard was in Marshall Monday he reports Miss Edna Finnell of his neighborhood very low. A.

The Christian church Rev. M. Denny, came in from Arrow Rock Monday where he preached twice Sunday for Rev. T. P.

Eavis at the church which gave a rally that day. He says there was a large attendance and that an offering of $13 was taken. The out door union services Sun day evening were well attended. Rev. J.
