Dr. Charles A. Berry of the National Aeronautics and Space administration. Cites Earlier Flights Dr. Berry, who can order the spacecraft down if any medical problems arise, said that the results of the four-day and eight-day Gemini flights indicated that the astronauts' bodily functions leveled off at about the third day of flight.

The main physiological factor in the leveling off is that the heart beat slows down, Dr. Berry explained. Dr. Berry, who said he is less nervous for the next space mission than for the four-day flight, made his remarks at a press conference in the Pick-Congress hotel. He later addressed more than 500 persons attending the steel industry's Boy Scout lunch-o-ree at which Edward L.

Ryer-son, retired chairman of Inland Steel company, was presented the 1965 Good Scout award. The 14-day Gemini 7 flight is him come back to Chicago TV, where Dave had much to do with devising what became known as "Chicago Style."
