Auld tnd Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Wilson 'ere hosts at a lovely dinner irty Saturday evening at the Ox when they honored Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pacharzina of Austin.

The party had been planned for the late summer reason, honoring Mrs. Pachar- Etna, who was Flora Bess Weiss before her marriage in September, but due to conflicts was i postponed until Thanksgiving when friends of the honor guests would be at home for the holiday season. The harvest theme was used for the decorations, with cornucopias of fruit and flowers being used, and the gold and brown colors predominating. 4- Misses Barbara Halsted, Kay Mosty, Barbara Kullenberg, Sue Dale Simmonds, Judy Dunks, Alys Doering and Jo Poole, titephen Drane, Bobby Black- ijburn, Jimmy Simmonds and ifahn Dyer were among the stu- lents from the Texas Tech in jubbock to spend the Thanks- riving season with homefolks. W. J. MeCune to Be Married Rev. and Mrs. Emmett Rodriguez have announced the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Adeladia, to Dr.

William James Me- Cune of Atlanta, Ga. The marriage, which will be an event of December, will be solemnized in the Calvary Baptist Church with the bride's father officiating. The bride-elect is a graduate of Tivy High School and holds A B. A. degree from the University of Texas and is now employed at the Entomology Station here.

Her fiance is the son of C. A. MeCune of California and the late Mrs. MeCune, and is at the present time a member of the faculty of the Electrical Engineering Department of Georgia Tech. He is a graduate of the University ow Texas and has a Ph.

D. in Electrical Engineering. He was graduated from the Shreveport, La, high school and received degrees from the Louisiana State University and the University of Pittsburgh, before coming to Texas. The couple plan to live in Atlanta, Ga. Mr Mrs.

Roy Robinson spent Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Powell in Hondo.

Mr. and Mrs. George E. Leigh and children of Houston spent week end with their moth- ors and Mrs Lucy D. Leigh and Mrs.

Toone spent the week end with their son in Amarillo. Mrs. Melba Tanner spent th week end with relatives in Sa: Antonio. Club Has Christmas Party One of the loveliest of the vKcasions during the Yuletide reason is the annual Christmas program and party, which has been a feature of the Deceni- per meetings of the Wednesday Musical Club for the last 25 years. The party was given Wednesday afternoon in the nome of Mrs.

George Bollmun on the Fredericksburg Road, with Mmes. Bollman, George M. Doyle, James S. Colley and 1 James B. Young as the hostesses.

Mrs. Doyle presided at the business session and Mrs. J. A. Wilcox was the program leader.

Mrs. Wilcox gave an interesting description of "Christmas in Spain" and Miss Nellie Smith jjave the story of the Hymn of the Month, "Angels from Realms of Glory" by Henry Smart. The soloists for the program were John McKay, who sang "The Star of Bethlehem" by Maunder and "0 Holy Night" by Adam, and Miss Virginia Peckham, who sang "Bethlehem oillaby" by Maunder, and Mrs. Vilcox played the accompaniment at the piano. Miss Hariett Garrett, with Mrs.
