Seguin Savings' exclusive "Rate Bump CD" actually is a defense against being penalized on your savings if rates go up. It allows you to take advantage of market upswings It's the oiily CD that will give you an v opportunity to **bump" .your interest rate "higher whenever our rates increase and let your certificate progress toward maturity with more earning power. You will be allowed to "bump" your rate once at any opportune time during the term without losing any interest earned and without extending the maturity date. Here's How It Works: Simply open a "Rate Bump CD" for a term of two, three or four years at our current competitive rate. Minimum deposit is $500. The more, the smarter! Then at any one time during the term of the certificate, you may "bump" your current rate for a higher rate that we may be offering on the "Rate Bump," but not to exceed more than three percent over the original rate. You'll immediately begin to earn the new, higher rate effective for the remainder 6f your original term. Interest is compounded continuously and can be paid into the account quarterly or paid out monthly by check. A penalty will be assessed for early withdrawal.
