"Pete" "Dick" Martin, 54, of York, died Tuesday at his residence in West Manchester Twp. Born March 3, 1948 in Gettysburg, he was the son of the late Earl R. and Ester V.

(Ketterman) Martin. He was employed by AMP Incorporated for the last 6 years where he worked as an Inspector in the Dye Cast Department. He is survived by a son, Andrew R. Martin of Greencastle; a daughter, Karin M. Sommer of York; 3 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Robert Martin of Waynesboro, Ronald Martin of York; three sisters; Nancy Shultz of Gettysburg, Linda Deyarmin of Couldersport Pa, Diane Warren of Hanover; a former wife Judy A.

Bowmaster, 90, formerly of 519 New Road, Orrtanna, died Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville. Born May 9, 1912 in Mt. Hope, Adams County, she was the daughter of the late C. Frederick and Dora (Kauffman) Nintle.

She was the wife of the late Charles C. Bowmaster who died in 1996. Mrs. Bowmaster was a member of the Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church, Biglerville.

She was a seasonal employee of the Knouse Food Company in Orrtanna for over 20 years. She was also a member of the Gettysburg Hospital Auxiliary, the Quincy Home Auxiliary, the Cashtown Fire Company Auxiliary, and was very active in her church. She is survived by: three daughters, Helen N. Izer of Fairfield, Verna B. Reedy of Fayetteville, and Mary B.

Walter of Carroll Valley; one son, John C. Bowmaster of Biglerville; 11 grandchildren, and 21 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Glenn Nintle. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct.

17 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle Gettysburg with the Rev. Phillip Zook officiating. Interment will be in Flohr's Church Cemetery, McKnightstown. The family will recieve friends from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Cavary United Methodist Church, 228 Cashtown Road, Biglerville, 17307. Monahan Funeral Home Gettysburg is in charge of arrangements. Raymond Eiker W. Raymond Eiker, 89, formerly of 1390 Fairfield Road, Gettysburg died Saturday, Oct.

13 at the Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village. Born Oct. 8, 1913 in Fairfield, he was the son of the late Jacob P. and Carrie May (Herring) Eiker. His wife of 67 years, Evelyn May (Folkenroth) Eiker survives.

Mr. Eiker was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Gettysburg. He was a life member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Gettysburg. He was employed at the Gettysburg Furniture Factory of 28 years, after which he was self-employed as a furniture finisher and repairer of antique furniture.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by: one daughter, Nancy J. Riffle, of Gettysburg; one son, Richard E. Eiker, of Newark and one sister, Hazel Snyder of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by three brothers, J. Gilbert Eiker, George Eiker, Samuel Eiker and one sister, Elizabeth McCleaf.

(Copenhaver) Eltz. His wife, Rosetta M. (Russell) Eltz, survives. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover.

He was also a member of the McSherrystovvn Home Association, where he was employed for approximately 5 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: three sons, Jeffery A. Eltz of Florida, Ronald Eltz of Texas, and Timothy E. Eltz of Shamokin; one daughter, Dorothy R. Lehman of Dillsburg; 11 grandchildren; six brothers, Donald B.

Eltz, Burnell F. Eltz Philip E. Eltz, Thomas Eltz, Patrick Eltz all of Hanover, and Michael Eltz of Gettysburg, and one sister, Phyllis E. Fry of New Oxford. He was preceded in death by one son, John T.

Eltz, one daughter, Jennifer E. Eltz, and one brother Calvin Eltz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17 at St.

Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover with Father Joseph F. Gotwalt as the celebrant. Following cremation, burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 in St.

Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Hanover. Family will recieve friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc. 269 Frederick Hanover with a prayer service at 8 p.m.

Baltimore Dillsburg, died Saturday, Oct. 12 as a result of an automobile accident in York County. Born June 17, 1980, he was the son of Radford H. Felts of York Springs and Cheri (Starner) Felts of Dillsburg. He was a 1999 graduate of Bermudian Springs High School and was employed as a metal cutter at Precision Cut in Hanover.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in New Oxford. In addition to his parents, he is survived by: his step-mother, Dawn Felts of York Springs; five sisters, Christina Walls of East Berlin, Katrina Felts, Dover, Angela Felts, Stephanie Woodcock and Lela Felts all of York Springs; and his maternal grandmother, Joyce Starner of Gettysburg. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 11 a.m. from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, New Oxford with his pastor, Bishop Scott Marshall officiating.

Judy Ann Kessel Judy Ann Kessel, 48, of died Friday, Oct. the Village of Laurel Run. Born March 24, 1954 in Gettysburg, she was the daughter of Esther M. Hankey Kessel of Gettysburg and the late Samuel T. Kessel.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a brother Samuel Kessel of Vienna, Va. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert L. Kessel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 2 p.m.

Monahan Funeral Home Gettysburg is in charge of arrangements. Leo Miller Leo F. "Bo" Miller, 63, of Hanover, died Saturday, Oct. 12 at Hanover Hospital. Born January 28, 1939 in Bonneauville, he was the son of the late George and Annie (Ginter) Miller.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marilyn R. (Morgan) Miller. Mr. Miller was retired from Emeco Industries, Inc. in Hanover.

He was a 1956 graduate of Delone Catholic High School in McSherrystown and a member of the McSherrystown Home Association. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: two sons, Joseph Miller of East Berlin and Ch.ristoph.efi/A. of Texas; two daughters, Jeanhette Noel and Donna Riddle, both of Hanover; four sisters, Helen Louise Weishaar and Dorothy Shriver, both of Gettysburg, Catherine Harman of Aspers and Theresa Miller of Westminster and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Hicks, Funeral Home, 501 Ridge McSherrystown with the Rev.
