LAKE FOREST WHIPS BLAKE SCHOOL, 7 TOO, IN HOMECOMING GAME Lake Forest academy celebrated its homecoming yesterday by scoring a touchdown in the first quarter to defeat Blake school of 7 to 0. The winning touchdown was made when Elliott Moore threw a 25 yard pass to Lafayette, Nov. 13 (SpecialsAn alert band of Pittsburgh football opportunists, taking full advantage of Purdue's many mis-cues, scored a 20 to 13 upset victory over the Boilermakers today before a men's day crowd of 30.000. A Boilermaker fumble on the opening kick-off, a blocked punt, and a twisting 100 yard kick-off return by Jimmy Joe Robinson, fleet Negro half back, contributed to the first Pittsburgh victory over Purdue in a five game series that was opened in 1941. For the resurgent Panthers, who earlier this season beat Indiana, it marked the fourth triumph in eight games.

The defeat was the sixth in eight games for the battered Boilermakers. Fumble On Kick-Off The sign of things to come was provided when Roger Roggatz of Purdue fumbled the opening kick-off and Ted Geremsky of Pitt recovered on the Boilermaker 25. Purdue momentarily halted the Pittsburgh bid when it took over the ball on downs on its 1 yard line, but little Lou Cecconi, shifty Panther half back, nullified the effect of the defensive stand when he made a twisting 40 yard return of George Punzelt's boot out of the end zone right back to the same identical 1 yard stripe. Carl DePasqua plunged over on the first play. Nick Bolkovac nade a successful place kick for the extra point and Pitt had a lead it never relinquished.

Robinson Runs 100 Yards Harry Szulborski, half back who provided the one bright spot in an 'otherwise dismal Purdue picture, cut the Panther lead to 7 to 6 late in the second quarter when he broke loose on a 56 yard, touchdown dash. Rudy Trbovich's-attempt for the extra point was blocked by Bolkovac, Pitt's left tackle, who plagued the Boilermakers thruout the game. Purdue's hope of coming from behind was shortlived, however, for on the kick-off following Szulbors ki' sprint, Robinson took the ball on the goal line, cut to his left, eluded a swarm of tacklers, and raced down the sideline for a touchdown. Again Bolkovac added the extra point and Pitt led 14 to 6, at the half. Bolkovac Blocks Pnnt After a scoreless third quarter, Bolkovac broke thru the Purdue forward wall and blocked one of Punzelt's purTts.

The panthers covered the ball on the Boilermaker 8 and, on the first play, Robinson turned on his speed around Purdue's right end for Pitt's third touchdown.
