Asheville Youth Discovered Dead Billy Joe Haney, 12, of 118 Brucemont Circle, was dead on arrival Saturday at an Asheville hospital. For deep our hearts you are with us yet. Wife, JEAN Daughters, JOYCE JUDITH JANET Walter R. Wagoner, 81, formerly of Chapel Park Road, died Friday in Beckley, W.Va., following a short illness. A native of laeger, W. he was a son of the late John and Julia Range Wagoner.

He had W.R. WAGONER lived most of his life in Asheville until moving to Beckly in 1975. Mr. Wagoner retired from the Railway Express in Asheville after 19 years service. He was a member of the Biltmore Alliance Church and in Beckly and was a member of the Fundamental Baptist Church.

He was also a member of the Railroad Brotherhood. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joseph K. Pinter of Beckly; a brother, Arthur Wagoner of Sarasota, three sisters, Mrs. Mary Campbell of Newport News, Mrs.

Myrtle Rumbough and Mrs. Mamie Aiken of Asheville; and two grandsons. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Morris Funeral Home. The Rev.

David Richardson will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence of Mrs.

Aiken, 15 Elk Mountain in Scenic Highway. Memorials may be made to the missionary fund at Biltmore Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Mrs. Bost Mrs. Blanche McGuinn Bank Bost, 81, of 620 Marietta died Saturday in an Asheville hospital after a long illness.

A native of Buncombe County, she was a retired practical nurse and was a member of the Biltmore Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Sarah Milton McGuinn and was the wife of the late Lawrence P. Bost, who died in 1962. She is survived by two sons, Charles Bost of Gainesville, and Daniel H. Bost of Asheville: a brother, George McGuinn of Asheville.

Harris will officiate. The family will receive friends at the residence. Penland and Sons Funeral Home, Asheville, is in charge of arrangements. Services for Archibald Cook Philp, 75, of Kingsgate Road, who died Thursday, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Williams Funeral Service.

Father Ronald McLaughlin and Msgr. Leon McNeill will officiate. A native of Scotland, he held a life membership in Oak Street Masonic Lodge and the Eastern Star of Kelty, Scotland. He served as superintendent of grounds of Aultman Hospital in Canton. Ohio until his retirement in 1964.

He was employed part-time at Wayside Nursery in Asheville between 1967 and 1973. He also attended horticultural schools at Ohio State University and Wooster College, Ohio, and attended St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He was also active and held offices in the Stark County Horticultural Society. He is survived by the wife, Jean McNeill Philp; a son, John M.

Philp of Wilmington, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Kendig of Canton, Ohio; two brothers, William C. Philp of Canton, Ohio and John M. Philp of Canada; a sister, Mrs. Janet Adamson of Kelty, Scotland; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the residence. Memorials may be made to Catholic charities or to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. McCrain Services for Mrs. Mary Alice Mills McCrain, 66, of 27 Oak Crescent Drive, who died Friday, will be held at 11 a.m.

Monday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home. The Rev. Phillip Nicholas will officiate. Graveside services will be held at Hamburg Cemetery in Jackson County. A native of Jackson County, she had been a resident of Buncombe County for 20 years.

She was employed by American Enka Co. and was the daughter of the late John and Rebecca Dire Mills. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Gloria Davis of Asheville: a brother, Dallas Mills of Cashiers; three sisters, Mrs. Edwin Haynes of Canton, Mrs. Ralph Bryson of Clyde and Mrs.

Born in Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Richard H. Taylor. He was a retired custodian of the Hazelwood First Baptist Church, of which he was also a member.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1947 to 1949. He is survived by the wife, Cora Lee Morrison Taylor; a daughter, Brenda Lee Beck of Balsam; a son, Richard H. Taylor Jr. of Louisville.

Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Lovin Sue Robertson Lovin, 80, of Route 2 Weaverville, Charcoal Road, died Saturday at her home.

She was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County and was the wife of the late Clarence M. Lovin, who died in 1952. She was a former employe of the North Buncombe High School cafeteria. She was the daughter of the late Sam and Janie Whitt Robertson. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs.

Margie Emory of Weaverville and Mrs. Pauline Robinson of Garner; a sister, Mrs. Ena Young of Burnsville; a brother, Hicks Robertson of Burnsville: five grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Antioch Baptist Church, of which she was a member.

The Revs. William Lynch and Worth Emory will officiate. Burial will be in West Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at West Funeral Horne, where the body will remain until placed in the church an hour before the services.

A native Wilkes County, he was the son of the late Levi Ball and Alice Henderson Ball. He was owner of Ball Piano Company from 1942 until his retirement in 1970. He was educated at the North Carolina School for the Blind. He is survived by the wife, Levia Jordan Ball; three sons, Hugh G. Ball Jr.

of Mooresville, Gurney Lee Ball of Mount Ulla and Jerry Marshall Ball of Troutman; three daughters, Mrs. George C. Jones of Winston-Salem, Mrs. Roy M. Puckett of Mooresville and Mrs.

Howard Moody of Asheville; a sister, Mrs. Isabelle B. James of Statesville; and 14 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Union Grove United Methodist Church.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Nicholson Funeral Home. Statesville. Isadore Schultz Isadore Schultz, 70, of Fletcher, died Friday in an Asheville hospital after an extended illness.

He moved to Fletcher in 1968 and was a former resident of St. Louis, Mo. He was a retired railway mail service employee. He is survived by the wife. Maude Turner Schultz: a brother, William Schultz of St.

Louis; a sister, Mrs. Goldie Brilliant of St. Louis. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in Riverside Cemetery.

The Rev. George S. Patterson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Williams Funeral Service.

Keely May W. Keely, 89, of Naples, and a summer resident of Asheville, died Saturday in a Western North Carolina hospital after a long illness. She was a native of Louisville. the daughter of the late Thomas and Ellen Kirby Walker and was the wife of the late John Keely and was a summer resident of Asheville for many years. She is survived by two nieces and a nephew.
