The Rev. Christy Harley of Asheville and Pastor Michael Kirby of Brook Park, Ohio, officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

David Andrews Beaman of Asheville and granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M.B. Roberts of Miami, and the late Mr. and Mrs.

Charles Andrews Beaman of Asheville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Joseph Kubec Sr. of Brook Park and grandson of Mrs.

Helen Hansinger of Cleveland, Ohio, and the late Joseph Hansinger, and Harry Kubec of Brook Park and the late Mrs. Kubec. Jennifer Ann Beaman, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Bonnie Kubec Biglang-awa of Brook Park, sister of the groom, Rene Bledsoe Barnes of Boone and Alison Flynt Hall of Chesnee, S.C. William Joseph Kubec Sr.

was his son's best man. Groomsmen were William Joseph Kubec brother of the groom, Edwin Biglang-awa, brother-in-law of the groom, both of Park, and Stacy Len Hall of Chesnee. Soloist was Veronica Powers, and organist was Judy Dowdy. Jane Hall and Christian Brooke Hall of Chesnee attended the guest book. A reception followed at the Country Club of Asheville.

The wedding cake and groom's cake were designed and created by Jane Tomlinson of Cakes by Jane. Music was provided by Pat Lance, and photography was by The Shutter Shack. The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Pisgah Inn on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Abby Peacock and Christopher West were married on July 12, 2002, at Alhambra Hall in Mount Pleasant, S.C., overlooking the harbor in Charleston, S.C. The Rev. Steve Schaefer officiated. The bride is the daughter of Bill Kitty Peacock of Boone, N.C., and granddaughter of Philip Cosby of Ormond Beach, Fla. The groom is the son of Caroll and Brenda West and grandson of Jim and Ruth Rickman, and Bruce and Estelle West, all of Asheville, N.C.

Matron of honor was Jennifer Dutton. Bridesmaids were Lori Massey, Carrie Turnbull, Erica Sanborn, Lindsey Smith and Kelley Barnhardt. Ringbearers were Sam Peacock and Chris Peacock, Peacock-West cousins of the bride. Best man was Brandon Foote. Groomsmen were Caroll West, father of the groom, Brandon West, brother of the groom, David Peacock, brother of the bride, Ryan Greene, and Jasper Filiss.

Wedding director was Kris Ritenhour, and floral designs were by Sherry Ferguson. After the ceremony, a reception was held at Alhambra Hall. Catering was by Sticky Fingers BBQ. A rehearsal dinner was held at T-Bonz. The bride and groom are both graduates of Appalachian State University, and they are both Physical Education teachers.

After a honeymoon cruise in the Caribbean, the couple will reside in Ormond Beach, Fla. GREENSBORO Kathy Lynn McDonald and Mark David Gerber, both of Greensboro, were married on May 4, 2002, at Blandwood Carriage House in Greensboro. The Rev. Susan Kennedy officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Newell McDevitt of Arden and the late John E. McDonald. The groom is the son of Betty Gerber of Orange County, and the late Hyman Gerber. Maid of honor was Caitlin AMANDA GAIL TURNER weds Robert McLain Beardsley Turner-Beardsley DURANGO, Colo.

Amanda Gail Turner and Robert McLain Beardsley were married on June 22, 2002, on the lawn at Dante's Restaurant, Durango Ski Resort, Durango, Colo. The Rev. Craig Gates officiated. A reception followed at the Columbine Restaurant, Durango Ski Resort. The bride is the daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. C. Phillip Turner and granddaughter of Virginia Jenkins and the late Edwin McMullen, and Marcella Turner and the late Charles Turner, all of Phoenix, Ariz. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs.

Thomas L. Beardsley of Asheville, N.C., and grandson of D.J. Guillory of Naples, and the late Guillory, and Eleanor S. Beardsley of Yarmouth Port, and James H. Beardsley of Harwich, Mass.

Maid of honor was Sarah Ordaz of Boston. Bridesmaids were Jessica Beardsley of Asheville, sister of the groom, Joanie Baca of Tempe, and Allissa Thompson of Durham. Flower girls were Maggie McMullen of Marblehead, niece of the bride, Holly and Emily Hedberg of Phoenix, and ringbearer was Calvin Beardsley of Portland, nephew of the groom. Best man was Thomas L. Beardsley, father of the groom.

Groomsmen were Adam Turner of Phoenix, brother of the bride, Tim Brookshire of Henderson, N.C., and Peter Avenarius of Arlington, Va. Music was provided by Jeanette and Gene Cline and Marcia Quinn, soloists, Matt Beardsley on mandolin and keyboard, and Aaron Towe on guitar. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents the groom at the Sow's Ear Restaurant in the Durango area. The bride and groom are both graduates of Duke University. She will attend graduate school at Rice University, and he plans to prepare for medical school.

After a honeymoon in Europe, the couple will reside in Houston, Texas. The bride is the daughter of Diana Barefoot of Chapel Hill and Dr. Glenn Withrow of Chapel Hill. The groom is the son of Jean Clayton of Asheville and Robert and Elizabeth Wurst of Asheville.
