Free Press, Monday, July 7, 1986 JAMES MICHAEL HANNIGAN James Michael Hannigan, 9, of 27 Conger died Friday evening, July 4, 1986, at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born in West Palm Beach, June 6, 1967, the son of Patrick J. Hannigan and Jeanne (Weston) McGauran. He had just completed the third grade at the Champlain Elementary School. He is survived by his mother, Jeanne Marie McGauran of Burlington; his father, Patrick J.

Hannigan Flor. ida; his brothers and sisters, Kate Ann McGauran of Seattle, Owen Clyde McGauran of St. Petersburg, Kevin Patrick McGauran and Eileen Bridget McGauran, both of Burlington; his maternal grandmother, Catherine Brown Weston of Winooski; and several uncles and cousins. Funeral services and visiting hours will for family members only. Interment will be Resurrection Park Cemetery in South Burlington.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to UNICEF, 866 United Nations Plaza, New York City, N.Y. 10022. Arrangements are by the Funeral Home, South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Road. HENRY J. LAVALLEY Henry J.

LaValley, 66, of 279 Lakeshore Drive, Colchester, died following a long illness at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington, July 5, 1986. He was born in Burlington, June 4, 1920, the son of Joseph N. and Bertha (Bessette) Vezina Sr. He was associated with mobile home businesses, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Disabled American Veterans and St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mae (Castle) LaValley of Colchester; one daughter, Cathy (LaValley) Peiffer of Boston, one stepson, Norman A. Grady of Hudson, two sisters, Norma Corrigan of Underhill, and Barbara Plunkett of Burlington; two brothers, Norman LaValley of Burlington, and Joseph Vezina Jr. eye Shelburne; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several aunts, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Carol LaValley. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m.

in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Burlington with interment following in Mount Calvary Cemetery Annex, Pomeroy Street. Peter Pritchard in charge of arrangements. HENRY L. JENSEN Henry L. Jensen, 84, of 5. Pleasant Essex Junction, died July 5, 1986, at the Medical Center Hospital after a short illness.

He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Jan. 11, 1902, the son of John Henry and Ida (Gerdsen) Jensen. Before his retirement, he custodial work in Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, N.J. He is survived by one sister, Ethel L. Jensen of Essex Junction; one sister-inlaw, Mrs.

John (Frances) Jensen Colchester; two nieces, Ida J. Seaman of Colchester, and, Mary Kay Jensen of Oakland, N.J.; one nephew, Richard P. Cards of Thanks The children of Mary G. Charron wish to express their thanks and appreciation to the fine staff of Fanny Allen Hospital for the loving care bestowed on their mother, Mary, during her long illness with them. Many thanks also to all the friends and relatives who helped us through our loss of our mother; and especially to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Auxiliary Post 7823 of Middlebury.

Winooski Burlington. KATHERINE BODETTE EAST MIDDLEBURY Katherine A. Bodette, 72, died Sunday, July 6, 1986, at the Porter Medical Center in Middlebury, following a long illness. She was born on Feb. 2, 1914, in Brandon, the daughter of William and Mary (Kupfer) Davis.

She attended schools in Brandon, and on Dec. 28, 1933, she married Charles "Lee" Bodette. They had resided in East Middlebury, for many was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Middlebury. She is survived by her husband, Charles "Lee" Bodette of East Middlebury; one daughter, Mrs.

Bernard (Audrey) Newton of East Middlebury; two sons, Davis Bodette, also of East Middlebury, and Bruce Bodette of West Bolton; two stepchildren, Mrs. Nelson (Jacqueline) Severance of Bristol, and Chester Bodette of South Burlington; 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Marion) Senecal of Rutland; one brother, Donald Davis of Venus, an uncle and an aunt, Mr. Mrs. Louis Kupfer of Forestdale; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m., at the Forestdale Cemetery in Forestdale. There will be no calling hours. The Waite Funeral home in Middlebury, is in charge of arrangements. LANGLOIS ST. ALBANS Ernest J. Langlois, 67, of 45 Edward died Saturday afternoon, July 5, 1986, in the Fanny Allen Hospital. He was born in New Bedford, March 9, 1919, the son of the late Victor and Victoria (Ouimette) Langlois. He was a member and usher of St.

Paul's United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War I1, serving in the 11th Infantry, 5th Division, and a member of the American Legion, Green Mountain Post No. 1. He was employed by the Central Vermont Public Service Corp. for 45 years.

He started as a lineman, July 19, 1936, and retired in June 1981. During his career, Ernest served as operations assistant and district superintendent. He married Barbara Steady, Nov. 8, 1940. Besides his wife of St.

Albans, he leaves his children, Richard and Bunnie Langlois of Swanton, Michael and Linda (Langlois) Pfau of St. Albans, James Langlois of St. Albans; his grandchildren, Mark and Jennifer Langlois of Swanton, Vickie, Heidi, Stephanie and George Pfau of St. Albans; two sisters, Miss Yvonne Langlois of Milton, and Mrs. Rose Richard of St.

Albans; a brother, several Oscar nieces Langlois and of nephews. Silverton, He was predeceased by two brothers, Armand and Raymond Langlois. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in St. Paul's United Methodist Church.

Friends may call at the Brady Levesque Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will be in the Milton Village Cemetery. FRANCIS L. GARRETT ST. ALBANS Francis L. Garrett, 67, a retired Central Vermont Railway employee, died Saturday evening, July 5, 1986. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m.

CALEVRO BARRE Emma G. Calevro, 80, of 9 Merchant Barre, died Saturday night, July 5, 1986, in the Central Vermont Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Montpelier, March 16, 1906, the daughter of Millard and Adeline (Stone) Grandfield. She attended Montpelier schools and gradvated from Montpelier High School in 1924. In earlier years, she had been employed as a bookkeeper at the Farnham's Pontiac Garage in Berlin.

In 1932, she was married to Dante Calevro in Montpelier. All of their married life has been spent in Barre. He died in December 1968. She is survived by two sons, Francis Calevro of Richmond, and Michael Calevro of Barre Town; two daughters, Virginia Starr of Shelburne, and Ellen Draper of Grand Isle; as well as 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A daughter, Roberta Cooley, and Dante Calevro, as well as three brothers, Robert, Wilson and Archie Grandfield are deceased.

was a member of the Hedding Methodist Church in Barre, the United Methodist Women, the Red Cross volunteers in Barre, the Barre Senior Citizens, the National Council of Senior Citizens and the AARP. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Hedding United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Hope Cemetery. HENRY GEORGE DARLING LYNDONVILLE Henry George Darling, 87, of 33 Center Lyndonville, died July 5, 1986, at his resi- dence. Born Aug. 13, 1898, in Burke, he was the son of Lucius A. and Margaret (McDonald) Darling. He attended schools in Lyndon, and was a graduate of Lyndon Institute, Worcester Academy in Worcester, and Bryant and Stratton Commercial School in Boston.

On Sept. 14, 1941, he married Kathleen Chaffee of St. Johnsbury Center. He was associated in real estate and banking business with his uncle, Elmer Darling. After his uncle's death he returned to his home at the Mountain View Farm in East Burke, and continued the business from there.

In 1943, he retired and moved his family to a residence on Center Street. He was active in the Legislature, representing Caledonia County from 1939-1940, was a trustee and vice president of the Lyndonville Savings Bank, a trustee of the Lyndon Institute, a member of the Morgan Horse Club and the Jersey Cattle Club. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; and several nieces, nephews and COUSins. Funeral services will be held at his late residence on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev.

Bruce S. Comiskey officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodmont Cemetery, East Burke. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr.
