The grants support community based arts programs for the overall development of the arts in Buncombe County. Those organizations targeting under-served populations, emerging organizations meeting a special need in the community and projects that explore new and creative directions in the arts are funded through Regional Artist Project Grants Program stage of their career. All applicants are encouraged to attend an application information workshop at the Arts Council on July 1 1, 2007 at 4pm. Grant deadline is August 17th at 5pm.
