27, 1901, in Gary, Mr. Crawford was a retired construction foreman. He had lived in the Santa Fe area since 1972. Survivors include his wife, Pauline Crawford of Texas City; daughters, Ella Mae Young of Manteca, Evelyn Fellers of Arcadia and Jane Stephens of Santa Fe; sons, A.C. Rodgers of Snyder and Jimmy Rodgers of Stafford; 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Margaret E. Myers TEXAS Margaret Elizabeth Myers of Texas City died Sunday at Avalon Care Center in Texas City. Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Dr.

Wes Morgan will officiate. Burial follows at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Born Jan.

6, 1901, in Payne County, Ms. Myers was a homemaker and a charter member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include her son, Jack E. Myers of Kirksville, daughters, Maxine McDonald of Texas City, Ruth E. Austin of Sandpoint, Idaho, and Louise Johansson of Texas City; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Elnora U. Anderson WAUKESHA, Wis. Elnora Unger Anderson of Delafield, died Nov. 7 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital in Waukesha, Wis. Mrs.

Anderson was born in Galveston on July 24,1918. She retired from Bankers Building in Milwaukee, after 21 years of service. Survivors include her daughters, Kathleen Vignone of Santa Fe, Shirley Jackson of Mukwonago, sons, Ronald E. Gorman of Ladysmith, and Gerald Anderson of Milwaukee, sister, Bernice E. Marfin of Nordheim; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Interment was in Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin, Wis. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society. Jeff Stanley Jr. GALVESTON Jeff Stanley Jr. of Galveston died Dec.

21 at John Sealy Hospital. Born March 15, 1918, in Keltys Community, Angelina County, Lufkin, Mr. Stanley had been a resident of Galveston for the last 40 years. He attended Lufkin Dumbar High School and served as a staff sergeant during World War II. He is survived by his daughters, LaVell Stanley Myers of Lufkin and Mary Helen Stanley of Houston; sons, Jerome Stanley of Galveston and Jeff Stanley II of mother, Helen Nobles of Lufkin; one aunt, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Nellie A. Simmons PORT ARTHUR Nellie Avrille Simmons, 85, of Port Arthur died Sunday in Port Arthur. Graveside services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Port Arthur. The Rev.

Stan Gerber will officiate. Burial follows under the direction of Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Born March 24, 1905, Miss Simmons retired from American National Insurance Co. in Galveston in 1967. She is survived by five nephews.

Tom Hall CLAY Tom "Papa Jack" Hall, 82, of Clay died Dec. 22 at his residence. Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Home Baptist Church in Clay. The Rev.

W.W. Jackson Jr. will officiate. Burial follows at Clay Cemetery. Arrangements are provided by Mainland Funeral Home of La Marque.

Born Dec. 1, 1908, Mr. Hall was a retired laborer. He was deacon at the Pleasant Home Baptist Church. Survivors include his sisters, Melvin Brown and Sophia Anderson, both of Galveston; brothers, Willie Hall of Galveston and Henry Hall of La Marque; sons, Chris and Charles; step-daughter, Ruth James of Clay; two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends of the family will be pallbearers.4 Memorials may be sent to Pleasant Home Church in Clay. Ethel I. Miller TEXAS CITY Ethel I. Miller, 86, of Livingston died Monday at Danforth Hospital in Texas City. Services are 10 a.m.

Wednesday at Central Baptist Church of Livingston. Dr. Ben Wellmaker will officiate. Burial follows at Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock. Visitation is 3 p.m.

today at James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. Born July 24,1904, in Webb City, Ms. Miller was a former Texas City resident. She resided in Livingston for 20 years. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Livingston, and was a member and served as treasurer of the Love Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Seymour of Texas City; son, Avery P. Miller Sr. of Santa Fe; sister, Carrie McElroy of Van Buren, brother, Lester Price of Sudan; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society. Anna M.

Brown GALVESTON Anna Mae Brown, 82, of Galveston died Sunday at her residence. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday in the Memorial Room at Broadway Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Dowdy will officiate.

Phillips, a forty year resident of Dickinson, Texas, passed away Saturday at the age of 65. A graduate of Betlville High School and Sam Houston State University, Mr. Phillips' life was devoted to children and our education system. A teacher in the Dickinson Independent School District and teacher-administrator at Friendswood Independent School District, he also served on the DISD Board of Directors six years and the Region IV Education Service Center Board of Directors eight years. Mr.

Phillips was a Little League Coach for 12 years and a basketball coach during his years with the Dickinson Optimist Club, of which he served as president in 1984. He was also a member of the Dickinson VFW Post No. 6378, active in the Jaycees, and a Boy Scout Representative. Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Phillips of Dickinson; sons, Michael D. Phillips and wife, Gail, of Round Rock; Pat W.

Phillips and wife, Jan, of Dickinson; Danny Clark and wife, Ann, of Navasota, and Curtis Wilson and wife, Sandra, of Alvin; brother, Harry Phillips of Tyler; and four grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Jack Rowe Cathedral Chapel, with the Rev. Horace McMillan and Ferd Dawson officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Del Bosque, A.L. Henry, Herman Grawunder, Floyd Brown, Owen Rogers and Larry Carmichael. Honorary pallbearers will be Boyce Davis and Joe Radicipni. Mr. Phillips was dearly loved by family and friends and will be truly missed.

Services are 10 a.m. December 26, 1990, in the chapel of Levy Funeral Home. Rabbi James Kessler will officiate. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 5-6 p.m.

December 25 at the funeral home. Mrs. Jacobs was born June 27, 1905, in Connellsville, Pa. She was the retired owner and operator of a welder's supply company. She was a Laredo resident for 40 years, and a five-year resident of Austin, where she lived with her sister-in- law.

She was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, she was instrumental in organizing the Laredo Civic Music Association, and she was a member of the Auxiliary of Mercy Hospital and a life member of the Marthas. She was a former Laredo Woman of the Year. Mrs. Jacobs was preceded in death by her husband, Charles N. Jacobs.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Janet Jacobs and Martin Kantor of Wichita Falls; sister-in-law, Dorothy Cohn of Austin; grandchildren, Pamela Kantor of New York City, Leslie Zinn and husband, Ken, of Joshua, and Carla Schuchman of Pawleys Island, S.C.; great-granddaughters, Melissa and Katherine Ramsey; nephews, Dr. Maurice D. Cohn of Austin, Marvin Wise of Dallas and Jack Marchel of Margate, N.J.; nieces, Marilyn C. Schwartz of Galveston, Frances Wise of San Antonio, and Sally Levin of Pittsburgh, Pa. Pallbearers will be Bob Schwartz, Dick Schwartz, John Schwartz, Tommy Schwartz and Phillip Wise.
