Olivier Recovering After Appendectomy LONDON (AP)-Sir Laurence Olivier was reported making a good recovery yesterday after an appendix operation. The 60-year-old British actor underwent surgery Friday and hopes to leave the hospital within a week. Olivier had been having found no lingering trace of ma i'ignancy.
