The molded bodice had a yoke of illusion and the bouffant skirt which was inset with lace, extended a chapel train. Her veil of illusion was attached to a Juliet cap of lace embroidered with seed pearls and sequins. She carried an orchid on a white Bible.

She was attended by 'Miss Argylle Duckett, Mrs. Charles Murphy, sister-in-law of the bride, Miss Barbara Ann Hayes; Miss Virginia Hutchins, Miss Laura Elizabeth Davis. and Miss Wanda Mehaffey, cousin of the bride, all of Leicester. The attendants wore dresses of pastel shades of net over satin with matching he addresses. They carried nosegays of mixed flowers.

Bill Winkenwerder of Asheville was best man. Ushers were Charles Murphy, brother of the bride: H. M. Rogers: Charles D. Brookshire, uncle of the bride, all of Leicester: and Donald McKenzie and Lonnie Rush, both of Asheville.

of Raleigh and Miss Ann Carland of Charlotte. They wore waltz length gowns of blue chiffon over net with matching headpieces and they carried fan shaped bouquets of carnations. Mr. Carland was his son's bext man. Ushers were Clair Morris of Columbia, James Maney of Cocoa, and Wayne Carland of Mills River, brother of the bridegroom.

For her wedding trip the bride wore. a white sharkskin dress with a red jacket, black and white accessories, and a corsage of white orchids. The couple will reside in Mills River. Mrs. Carland is a graduate of Woman's College, UNC, Greensboro.
