At hUlHLJNS 28 The Arizona Republic Phoenix, May 17,1969 Obituaries Edna W. Ketehum dies; retired schoolteacher Mrs. Edna W. Ketehum, 87, a retired schoolteacher who came here in 1914 from Twin Falls, Idaho, died Thursday in Scottsdale Baptist Hospital. Mrs.

Ketehum, 5601 E. Exeter, began her education in a one-room school in her native Genesee, Idaho, attended prep school two years at Moscow, Idaho, was graduated there in 1897 and received her B.S. in chemistry in 1903 at the University of Idaho where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She taught from 1903 to 1914 at Twin Falls and retired in 1916 from the old Adams School in Phoenix. She returned to Phoenix in 1921 Albert B.

Hale SUN CITY Services for Albert B. Hale, 79, who died Thursday in his home, 10108 Desert Hills Drive, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Lundberg's Sunland Chapel on N. 107th Avenue. Cremation will follow.

Mr. Hale had been a conductor 55 years on the Milwaukee Railroad. Born in Amberg, he moved here in 1963 from Plymouth, Wis. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Sun City, the Sun City Square Club, a Masonic lodge in Peshtigo, the Sun City Railroad Club and the Hiawatha Club. Survivors include his wife, Frances; two sons, Nathan of Sun City and Richard of Whittier, Calif, a daughter, Mrs.

Joanne Reichlin of East Aurora, N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. Viola Nazzal of Sun City; four grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. from San Diego and with her late husband. Will R. Ketch- urn, developed the property on Exeter.

He died in 1954. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Messinger Mortuary, 515 E. Indian School. Cremation will follow.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Betty L. Kennedy of Scottsdale; a brother in Oregon; three grandchilren and four great-grandchildren. Felix E. Holder PEORIA Felix Edmond Holder, 60, who operated a custom hay baling and farm service, died yesterday in Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix.

Mr. Holder, 87th and Peoria Avenues, was born in Winnsboro, and moved to Peoria in 1937 from Mount Vernon, Tex. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Steelman and Mrs. Evelyn Bailey, both of Phoenix, Mrs.

Bobbie Lydic of Glendale; a son, Johnny of Glendale; his mother, Mrs. Jessie Holder of Houston; two brothers and two sisters out of state; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Chapel of Chimes, 5852 W. Glenn Drive.

Burial win be In Resthaven Cemetery, Glendale. Lula Duree Mrs. Lula L. Duree, 75, of 2011 W. Flower, a member of the Order of Eastern Star came here in 1948 from Illinois, died yesterday in St.

Joseph's Hospital. Mrs. Duree had been employed 32 years by Illinois BeU Telephone Co. in her na- tive Rockford, III, before retiring in 1945. Survivors include a son, Arthur W.

of Phoenix; a sister and a brother out of state. The family prefers contributions to the Science of Life Fellowship of Scottsdaie. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camelback with Order of Eastern Star members assisting.

Cremation will follow. Anthony Kruszyna Catholic prayer services for Anthony N. Kruszyna, 49, who died yesterday in his home, 6359 E. Indian School, will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Paradise Chapel, 3934 E.

Indian School. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Mr. Kruszyna was owner of Anthony's Coffee Shop, 2200 N.

Central, and formerly owned a coffee shop in Glendale. Born in Cleveland, he lived in Tucson from 1947 to 1957 when he moved to the Valley. He was a Navy veteran of World War and-spent four years in a Japanese prisoner of war camp. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include a son, Daniel of Phoenix.

Friends may call at the mortuary after 5 p.m. today. Gertrude Jones Services for Mrs. Gertrude Jones, 84, who died Wednesday in Good Samaritan Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. today in A.

L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs.

Jones, 2611 E. Glenro- sa, retired in 1951 after 28 years with the Vermillion County Utility Co. at Clinton, Ind. She moved to Phoenix 18 years ago. She was born in Coal Creek, Ind.

Survivors include two daughters, Marie Jones of Phoenix and Mrs. Frances Coslett of Beech Grove, a son, Ralph of Mineral Wells, 6 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. McWilliams rites Monday Mrs. Patricia E. McWilliams, 44, a former records supervisor and secretary for the U.S.

State Department and for the Air Force abroad and in Washington, died Thursday in Phoenix Baptist Hospital. Mrs. McWilliams, 749 E. Montebello, a native of Minnesota, lived in Los Angeles before assignment with the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade.

Thereafter she served in embassies in Santiago, Jakarta, Buenos Aires, Managua, and with the Air Force at Niigata, Japan, and the State Department in Washington before moving to Phoenix two years ago. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday in A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W.

Adams. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Elks Lodge Cemetery at Globe. Survivors include her husband, Ed, and her mother, Mrs. Augusta Ehnes of Eagle Bend, Minn.

John L. Stewart SUN CITY Graveside rites for John Lee Stewart, 67, a sales contractor 40 years for the Upjohn Co. in Salem, will be at 11 a.m. today in Sunland Cemetery here. Sunland Mortuary made arrangements.

Mr. Stewart, 10834 Mission Lane, was born in The Dalles, and moved here eight years ago from Salem. He was a member of Masonic lodge, the Scottish Rite and an Elks lodge, all in Oregon. He was graduated as a pharmacist from Oregon State University. He died Wednesday at Bells Lodge in Phoenix.

Survivors include his wife, Alice; a son, Richard; and a sister, both of Corvallis, Ore. The family prefers contributions to the American cancer or heart funds.
