Construction delays and thefts of a truck and equipment have slowed the debut of KUTF. The station had been scheduled to begin broadcasting in November, station manager Charlene White said. An open house is scheduled from 2 to 7 p.m.

today at the station, 1154 Madison Ave. NE. The UHF station is owned by the Rev. Jimmy Thompson of Dove Broadcasting in Greenville, S.C. It will broadcast mostly religious and family-oriented shows from the FamilyNet network.

They'll include: Movie classics with a family focus. Gloria, a program with host Art Linkletter featuring inspirational music. Weekend Gardener. Jerry Falwell's The Pastor's Study Night Line, hosted by Thompson's wife, Joanne, who will talk with prisoners and street people. Channel 32 will have a broadcast signal capable of reaching from Longview, to Eugene.

Channel 32 has contracted with Landin Media Sales of Phoenix, to sell commercial time, and donations will be accepted. Station officials also hope to produce their own shows.
