3 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Minerva Sportsman Club for Mr. and Mrs. Ervin H. Borland of 220 Park Carrollton, in celebration of their golden anniversary.

Borland and the former Estella Taylor of Sistersville, W. were married Sept. 6, 1927, in the Baptist Church parsonage at Sistersville by Rev. Lloyd. Children of the couple, who will be hosting the event, are Mr.

and Mrs. Marion Hinton of Salineville, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Borland of Minerva, Mr. and Mrs.

Wayne Borland and Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Borland of Augusta, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lucas of Kensington and Mrs.

Betty Abers of Carrollton. The family also includes 25 grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Borland retired in 1969 from the Metropolitan Brick Yard at Pekin. Mrs. Borland retired in 1971 from TRW Corp.

and Mrs. Ralph Beitzel of 401 E. 10th Dover, were honored at an anniversary party hosted by their children in Glendale, in celebration of their 55th wedding anniversary. Mrs. Beitzel, the former Leola Needs, daughter of the late Mr.

and Mrs. John Needs of Dover, and Beitzel, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Beitzel of Dover, were married Aug. 26, 1922, in the parsonage of St.

John's Evangelical Church with Rev. Theodore Schlundt officiating at the ceremony. Hosting the event were the couple's children, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald (Irene) Bentzel of Glendale and Mr.

and Mrs. Robert (Dora) Beitzel of Zanesville. Eight grandchildren and five great- grandchildren complete the family. Beitzel is a veteran of World War having served with the 4th Division in France and the Army of Occupation in Germany. They are members of St.

Alvin (Emma) Regula of Baltic, were married Aug. 24, 1947, in Baltic Church of the Brethren. Rev. W. D.

Fisher, who performed the ceremony, was a great-uncle of the bride and also officiated at her parents' wedding. Their children are, Mrs. Donald (Cherie) Mahoney and Jeffrey Regula of Massillon and Robin Regula of the home. One grandchild completes the family. Regula, a 31-year employe of Ohio Bell Telephone has served 12 years as a Perry Township trustee and is a member of the Eagles Lodge and Baltic American Legion.

and Mrs. Bert Kohler of RD 2, New Philadelphia, will be celebrated at an open house Sept. 4 from 2 to 5 p.m. in their home. Hosting the event will be the couple's children, Mr.

and Mrs. Robert (Rhonda) Bigler Jr. of New Philadelphia, Jeffrey Kohler of Gainesville, Albert, who is serving with the Marines at Camp Smi Hawaii, and Suzanne of the home. A granddaughter completes the family. The former Shirley Riker, daughter of the late Daniel J.

and Lida Limbaugh Riker, and Kohler, son of Mr. anu Mrs. Lloyd Kohler of New Philadelphia, were marriad Sept. 3, 1952, at Richmond, by Rev. John Longstreet.

They are members of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church at New Philadelphia. Kohler is a supervisor at the Warner Swasey Co. of New Philadelphia. Moores married 40 years Mitchell photo MR. AND MRS.

JOHN DECKER John J. Deckers to be feted Sept. 4 Mr. and Mrs. John J.

Decker of 503 N. Main Tuscarawas, will celebrate their silver wedding anniversary Sept. 4. They were married Sept. 6, 1952, at Richmond, Ind.

An anniversary mass will be held in their honor at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Therese Catholic Church at Wainwright and an open house will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. in the parish hall of the church. Hosting the event will be the couple's children, Dave and Cheryl of the home.

Mrs. Decker is the former Anna Comignaghi, daughter- of Mrs. Lena Comignaghi of Wainwright and the late Marco Comignaghi. Decker is a son of John Decker of Chicago and the late Mrs. Ethel Decker.

They are members of St. Therese Church where she is a member of the Altar Society. He is a member of the Warwick Lions at Tuscarawas. The Deckers own and operate Twin City Meats at Uhrichsville. The 40th wedding anniversary of Mr.

and Mrs. James C. Moore of rear 546 Crider av. NE, New Philadelphia, was observed recently. They were married Aug.

21, 1937. Mrs. Moore is the former Millie E. Smith, daughter of the late Ollie and Roxie Barnes Smith of the Baltic, Evans- creek area. Moore is a son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Carlisle Moore of New Philadelphia.

Elder John Carlisle, the bridegroom's uncle, officiated at the couple's wedding in the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ 'of Latter Day Saints in New Philadelphia. Mrs. Moore is a member of the First Christian Church at New Philadelphia. Moore retired in 1965 from the Joy Mfg. Co.
