Clyde 'Frank' Wellington SWEET HOME Clyde "Frank" Wellington, 78, of 1283 44th died Wednesday. Born in Spokane, he was a machinist at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft in Torrance, Calif, for 23 years, coming here in 1970 after retirement. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his wife, Hilda May; and son, Robert Sweet Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m.

He was born in Carrington, N.D., and moved to the Sweet Home-Lebanon area in 1934. He a logger, mill worker and farmer, was a memwas, ber of the Lebanon Senior Citizens Center. Surviving are his wife, Alta; sons, Irvin, Sweet Home, Richard, Portland, and Seth, Heppner; and daughters, Grace McCoy, Corvallis, Virginia Ewing, Sweet Home, and Dorothy Lanning and Shirley Engeman, both of Eugene. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Albany.

Huston mortuary here is in charge of arrangements. William Robert Garlick GLENEDEN BEACH William Robert Garlick, 59, of Gleneden. Beach, was found dead Monday. Born in Rochester, N.Y., he moved to Oregon in 1955 and had lived in this area 12 years. He served with the Army Air Corps in World War II and was employed by North Lincoln Hospital at the time of his death.

He was a member of the Elks and American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine, Thousand Oaks, and sons, Robert, Dedham, and William, Mesa, Ariz. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Congressional Church, Lincoln City. Roberts and Ivan Goff first teamed during the late 1930s in New York after Roberts and Sidney Sheldon had produced or written three successful Broadway shows: "Merry Widow," "Dream With Music" and "Jackpot."
